A line from a song can aptly describe the whole week of Sony TV's new show Honge Judaa Na Hum "They fight, they break up, they kiss, they make up…"
Interesting start must say…even while the couple was fighting in the very first scene their chemistry made the fight appear cute especially with the knife and the police playing the supportive roles.
Rohan's family reaction to the couple's another fight reminded me a sequence of Karan Johar's film Kuch Kuch Hota Hain "Rahul Aur Anjali Ka Jhagda," instead here there was just one small boy as the Cheerleader
This "Pal Main Tola Pal Main Masha" couple has reconciled in the very next scene asMuskaan discovers her surprise gift in their superbly decorated room – a portrait of her by her husband (funny, the guy is a professional painter and is gifting his wife her portrait for the first time in five years of marriage! Now there's a reason to fight ). After a cute romantic patch up with the title song in the background the episode for the day ends.
Next day first thing in the morning is the entry of the 'Cruella de vil' aka Muskaan's mother who always wishes that her daughter should come to senses and leave Rohan forever.
Rohan and Muskaan take a second take on celebrating her birthday specially and without fighting but end up fighting. Ooh la la something definitely went wrong in those pipelines, there is an 'ateet' that haunts them and instead of talking and clearing it up they fight and mess it up further.
The angry bird Rohan puts Muskaan in dilemma to choose between him and the ateet. Our little emotional and hurt birdie Muskaan is convinced by her mumma to sign divorce papers (which were ever ready for this very chance).
On the other hand Rohan's Bhabhi works smartly and uses reverse psychology to make him realize his mistakes but before they can have a take Three, destiny Struck…Actually their cars struck!
It is true when they say that television serials could also teach you something sometimes…. Well here the early bird lesson from this one.
"Don't talk on phone while driving or you might end up in an accident and if coincidence has it the accident will be with the one you are talking on phone"
So at least they can say no other innocent human being was harmed during this while accidents between couples makes the meet cute moment in our serials, here it was a bad moment.
Next two episodes should have been named as same to same. No no the episodes were not same, but the action and reaction of the leads were same to same as both of their cars were damaged differently but both had similar head injury (now this is love… jo tera hain woh mera )
The neurosurgeon that turns out to be Muskaan's x is somehow smart enough to treat both of them simultaneously. Honestly there should an upper limit of melodrama. If they are so critical how they can be operated by just one main doctor at same time and still survive (something ought to go the wrong way in their brain). More amusingly they were in the same observation room as well and while both Muskaan and Rohan's vital signs were not good so shocks were given.
Now, beat this. The shock sequence felt like the doctor is gifting chocolates, one to Rohanand now One to Muskaan…repeat that and Tadaa they are alive!!
Their memories for each other are getting vague in the brain, they twitch their hands and a tear falls from their right eye; all this happen simultaneously to both of them. If they were so compatible I wonder why were there fights?
So, now they are in their respective wards waiting to be conscious and Tadaa perfect timing. Rohan and Muskaan suffered full memory loss (thank God their reactions when they woke up were different at least there was something that was not same to same.)
Uff another similarity arrives, whenever they see each other something triggers in their brain which hurts them. So the doctor suggests them to keep Rohan and Muskaan away from each other. Our cruella de vil produces the signed divorce paper and announces that they both will never meet each other now.
While Rohan's family hides Muskaan and his pictures to safeguard their recovery, Muskaan's mother directly burns it and accepts this as the answer to her prayers, for Rohan and Muskaan split although their servant saves one wedding picture for himself (hmm… this will be used later by the Creative heads for some twist or other)!
The first week of Honge Judaa Na Hum have had been quite eventful and super paced. A year leap has already been taken and the couple will be having their meet cute soon. Although some might have liked the pace of the serial but there were some obvious missing links. As the fight between the leads did not made sense even once, was it ego, was it anger or was it just plain old past. The character sketch of any of the characters could not properly be grasped as everything was rushing.
The same – same thing in the last two episodes was seriously amusing! I mean a couple in the same car will have different injury and here they not only had the similar injury but the effect is also same Memory Loss (or was it the doctors who disturbed their memory nerve by mistake or intentionally)!
