Avinesh Rekhi is one lucky actor. Even before his debut show, Chhal — Sheh Aur Maat has ended, the actor apparently has already got an offer to play the central character in producer Ekta Kapoor's most ambitious show, the period love-story Jodha Akbar.
Sources inform that Avinesh has been approached by Kapoor to play Akbar in the show. Incidentally, Ekta has been looking for suitable faces to play the lead couple for the longest time now. With Avinesh finalised as Akbar, half the job's done.

That's wonderful news. He deserves the best...and whatever one may say or think about EKta K, she knows her ABC of serial making. It's a rare thing for a serial of hers to flop...only thing that worries me is that this seems to be a period show...and Ekta's last venture into historical/mythical stuff bit the dust badly...am referring to Mahabaratha.
