The whole premise of Arnav's past, his general attitude towards this world, his accumulative miseries ,his triumphs too partially everything is based on a fact that his father deceived his mother. And he was into an extramarital affair which lead to series on events to unfold. This had far reaching effect. It has effected Anjali in such a way that she lives in her cocooned world. Full of fantasy. It has scared Arnav so much that he views world either as black or white. And all this is blamed on a woman who no one has seen. Dadi has some clue but we are not sure what actually it is. So far the blame is squarely laid on Garimaji. So what is TRUTH.
Exactly, what do we mean when we say that something is true? If something is true, it would have to be absolute, wouldn't it? What would truth be other than that which never changes? If it changes, could it be Truth?
-Rev Will Newsome
So going by the above statement its quite evident that so many lives have suffered unnecessarily. When the absolute TRUTH comes out.. I think there will be a day when we will feel All this for nothing. Not sure how the next course of events will unfold. Its something to reckon about history being repeated. The way Khushi has suffered unnecessarily, Garimaji also must have met the same fate. She must be protecting some one. And in turn took the blame on self. Will Arnav and Khushi stand up for Garimaji and fight the fight. Time will tell us.

Due to time constraints, I have updated only a brief one with only my mind voices...Adjust Maadi!
2.Kushi's comment and Arnav's fear
Situation song : (One of my fav number by mastreo Illayaraja)
3.Dadi Garima confrontation
Dadi finally meets Garima and threatens to take revenge for her deeds... Garima like in the past tries to tell her that what she understood is wrong... but is royally shut up by Dadi's bullying and her inablility to listen to what the other person wants to say! Dadi says she will not let this ,marraige happen at any cost while a broken Garima wimpers not to do so. All this is watched gleefully by Shyam.
Mindvoice: a little dialogue that Garima told says that she didnt know that Sr.Malik was not married... what is the past associated with these two? there is clearly another woman and Garima is not that aurat... hmm Arnav's dad has been a play boy.. may be! but Garima escape at the neck of the moment?
Humko Humien se Chura lo...
Two major things in the episode were 1) Garima-Dadi confrontation with Shyam as usual hiding and grinning away like a monkey, sorry, didn't mean to insult the animal jaat and 2) The wonderful relationship growth between Arnav and Khushi. One wants to hang on to the past while the other was letting go. Shall we get started?
After all the trouble that Shyam Shakuni went through, Devi Maiyya suddenly decides that enough is enough and says, "theek hain, ab time ho gaya, meeting ho jane doh". She snapped her fingers and right away we saw Dadi Duryodhan finding Garima and there's no escape this time. Who helped dadi ji in this? None other than Khushi who pointed out her mother from afar. Didn't Arnav already say that where Khushi is, there's always Dhamaka? Look at fate and how it changes lives. Would Khushi have ever done what she did if she knew the insults Garima will be subjected to?
Dadi called Garima by name and poor Garima who's not expecting dadi ji turned around; she doesn't know that the past that she's so desperately trying to escape is meeting up with her face to face. Garima received the shock of her life and she's shivering and shaking, what to do? Dadi goes to visit the past in a flashback. We see her talking to Garima and letting out her harsh opinion about how she took everything away from the family and ruined their lives. Garima is defending herself that she was unaware that he was married and he never told her.
Coming back to the present, Dadi recognizes that Garima is indeed THAT WOMAN and her fury is unleashed and all the halaahal (poison) that she's kept hidden inside her for so long, is let lose. Here's the woman who was shameless to have an affair with a married man, took everything away from her and her family. How dare this woman set her foot into this place? When Garima tries to plead with her, Dadi slaps her and says, she should have known that this is that same woman who's ashamed of what she did and that's why she was trying to hide. She's like a dark cloud that's never leaving her family. Once women like her eye their prey, they'll never leave them alone until they die. She took away the happiness of a family, a wife from her husband, parents from their children and a son from his mother. How can this woman defend herself? Chup Dadi tells her, don't speak another word. Garima is not even allowed to defend herself. She wasn't satisfied with having an affair with a married man and not being satisfied she sent her daughters to ruin the lives of her grandsons. Garima's attempt to say something about Sr. Malik once again falls on deaf ears. The only reason Garima's and her daughter's plans worked well until now is because she (dadi) wasn't around. Now that she's back, she'll make sure that neither Garima nor her daughters have any influence in the house or on her family. Just as Garima ruined her whole family, she'll do the same to her family too. Nothing that she says will ever change things. Because of her, her son and daughter-in-law are lost to her forever and her granddaughter and grandson lost their childhood and are still bearing the burden of the past. She'll make her and her daughters pay the price. Garima is in tears, goes down on her knees and makes another attempt to say that she didn't know that he was married and not to punish her daughters for what she did. Dadi says it's too late to ask for forgiveness and she's very happy to have met Garima before the marriage, now she'll make sure that the marriage will not happen and that's final.
Shyam, who's hiding behind the doors is listening to the whole conversation between Dadi and Garima and is gloating away and grinning. Why won't he be happy? Things are working out way better than what he expected and Khushi and Arnav will be separated and the marriage will not take place. He has every reason to be happy. Tsk, Tsk, Shyam, I've already said that it's too early to count your chickens, didn't I? It doesn't matter what Shyam's past is, but he's totally evil to enjoy when someone like Garima is slapped by dadiji. He has no sense that someone who's his mother's age was slapped. It'll be very hard to digest if they show redemption for Shyam.
Dadiji ' She's seated herself on a high pedestal and pronounced judgment, unwilling to listen to the pleadings of innocence. I've already written about her ego and bigotry. Today, she's proved beyond doubt that she's totally and utterly hard hearted when it comes to people whom she considers as fallen in her eyes. Why? Because, it's one such woman who was responsible for shattering her whole family and lives were lost. So, she generalizes it to all. Kah diya to bas kah diya, such women need to be punished and it's an eye for an eye. Not even the fact that Khushi brought back Shyam for Anjali's sake made any difference to her. Garima and her daughters are hung, drawn and quartered. They don't deserve any respect and she heaped insults on them. She tore them and their self-respect to pieces and is all set to destroy their lives forever. Isn't it all based on the opinion she formed in the past? She's just wallowing in the past and doesn't want to let it go. She's completely shackled to her past in very thick chains and there's no freedom from it yet.
Hmmm, Dadi ji, it's nice that you think about YOUR FMAILY AND YOUR HOUSE, but is it truly your family? Didn't you leave them and turn your back on them when they really needed you the most? Didn't you refuse to meet them when they came to see you? So, suddenly THIS WOMAN made you think of your family is it? Didn't Arnav already make it clear that he wants you back in the Ashram? Arhem, dadi ji, Shantivan is Arnav's sweat and blood and does not belong to you, period. Neither you nor anyone else has any ownership of it. So, where's the case of YOUR HOUSE? Whether Arnav will stop the marriage or not, is left to him and not you. Shall we wait and see what happens?
Question: Was there a need to show Shyam's toothpaste smile for so long? It was so darned irritating and annoying.
Dadi was shouting at the top of her voice and insulting Garima and no one including the servants heard her? Hein, aisan kaisa?
Garima keeps saying that she didn't know "woh" shaadi shuda they, is this really Sr. Malik or someone else? I know she has the picture of Sr. Malik, but are we sure it's him we are talking about?
Remove the shackles of the past
Arnav wins the game of pass the pillow around and Khushi has to do what he says. He takes her to his room, leads her on making her think he has some romantic plan in mind and then draws a mooch on her face and brings her down for all to see. The laughter of the family makes Khushi wonder what happened and when she takes off the blindfold, he brings a mirror close to her face. She's shocked to see the moochen and a big black dot on her face and screams. He tells her she's really beautiful and didn't want any bad eyes on her, so''Khushi is upset that he played this trick on her and starts chasing him around. Didn't we always hear how natkhat Arnav was in his childhood and here's our proof. That child in him today is free to roam around and enjoy life and it's all because of Khushi. Yes, he certainly threw off that manacle.
Arnav is wiping out the mark of moochen off Khushi's face and though it's all clean, he continues to do so just to touch her. When she comes to know what he's doing, she tells him that she won't fall into his traps again and will run away as far as possible from him and he won't be able to find her. Arnav is really upset on hearing her. The thought of separating himself from her, even jokingly, is unbearable to him. His whole bearing changes and he asks her to promise never to say such things again. The ever perceptive Khushi notices that he's absolutely serious and gives her word. She asks him what's wrong and waits for a response. When none if forthcoming, she tells him it's ok, he can share when he's ready. How well she's able to read him, sense his moods, give him his space and waits for him to respond? She knows all he needs now is comfort and gives him a hug.
Arnav asks her if she trusts him and will she come with him and he doesn't want anyone to know, so they'll leave through the back door. She nods her agreement and they leave forgetting their cell phones. Arnav brings her to a garden with a cottage. It's his very private world that she's entering, it's a world that none is privy to.
Sorry guys, having serious internet and power problems...will continue later.
So the blindfold surprise Arnav had for Khushi is one none of us saw coming, drawing moustache on her and bringing her downstairs for the family to see was so unlike Arnav, but it shows the side Khushi brings out to him one that is playful and who loves to pull her leg.
The next scene I absolutely adored, Arnav taking Khushi to a place very close to his heart and revealing his love for plants being because of his mother was all beautifully shown. Arnav, a man who never opened up to anyone has finally found someone he feels safe opening up about his past whether its painful memories that haunt him or heartwarming memories like shown today. Khushi and Arnav's bond continues to deepen, he tells her all those rituals are formality but for him she was his wife and his mother's daughter in law it couldn't get anymore meaningful than this especially after Khushi saw that birthday wish was more heartfelt than she ever imagined. He loves her with all his heart and today she holds extreme importance in his life, he cannot bear to think of his life without her in it..
So the much awaited confrontation between Dadi and Garima finally took place, yes it was annoying but it was better than the never ending slow motion misses we've had to endure. Finally the truth is out, or is it?? Garima's words did imply she was indeed the other woman but still I'm not convinced, there is a piece of the puzzle that is missing here, something that is still unknown to viewers. If Arnav's father was really having an affair then why tell his wife it is not what you think? Why did that flashback look eerily similar to the one Arnav witnessed on the terrace?? There are always two sides to the story and Garima's is yet to come
I could not stand Dadi today, she has a lot of nerve judging Khushi and Payal for she knows nothing about them. Dadi was gone for 14 years, never once kept in touch with the children she claims to care so much about so how can she make it seem like Payal and Khushi entrapped the Raizada men??? Now Dadi wants to punish both sisters with Khushi being punished more severely believing she not only entrapped Arnav but Shyam too, the very thought is enough to make me cringe. I really hope Dadi is set straight soon but not expecting much considering the day she strikes will be one full of shock and anger to react to her insults. Will Khushi walk away like hinted in her earlier dialogue?? Will Arnav be the first to reach out like hinted during the dupatta haldi scene?? A separation though likely does not look long term given how close these two have become.
While I feel the CVs did a better job by focusing on close up shots of Barun and Sanaya, there were some places where the body doubles were visible. For example, the hand holding scene Sanaya's BD has the tattoo version mehendi and she was visible in the scene where she walks away only to be pulled by Arnav. Editing could be better but overall an emotional episode which I loved.
