Sorry just now got done watching whole week's BV repeat on Colors and I am a bit high.. I am openly saying CM doesnt have any right to interfere in Shiv's personal thing simply cuz she is plain insensitive and judgemental..

What does she know about Anandi ? How come she makes a false assumption that Anandi is lying about Jagya's return ? Who gave her the right to JUDGE Anandi as a person ? How many minutes has she spent with the girl ? I can't support CM simply for this reason that unless you are in that person's shoe throughout life, you dont have any right to JUDGE a person..

CM's krap about memories and breathe is just pathetic If she remembers her husband at her every breathe, she better go and cry in the corner of her room  Why going around the village and lecturing people about her son's happiness

All I can see is she thinks about her son Shiv and only Shiv at her every breathe Cant stand another lecture from her about love for 'first husband'  

Cm first of all is forgetting that she is talking to an adult...n meddling with an adult choice...

Whatever it is, AnSh marriage happens n cm's useless feelings need not b given any importance...
Shez a frog in a well n had never faced the society ...

What I see is that CVs have made with the entry of the Shekars is Balika Vadhu 2.0. In the sense this is Anandi new life and new beginnings with marriage again. Cvs have made Choti Maa like Dadisa coz she clearly loves Shiv more than her own son. But CM character won't be as extravagant as Dadisa but she will be the 'pebble in Anandi's shoes', which she can't ignore nor throw. In any story, there has to be the 'bad guy', so they have placed CM as a grey character, not over the top yet she will be in Anandi's face.
 Even how Anandi met her new father in law was parallel to how she met Bhairon. Just like how Sumitra is a nice saas, so is Irawati. But Sugna liked Anandi, here Shiv sister doesn't approve but we have Mahi who like Anandi. Just how the Singhs were a traditional family, Shekars are modern, it will be interesting to see how Anandi fits into this mould.
To me I think this is just take two of Anandi's life, Shiv will be everything Jagat isn't. This will be the catalyst to Anandi's realisation of life, love, family and herself as a woman, wife and possibly even something more.

Just to add, I don't agree with what CM said but what she said will only help Anandi realise what a worthless piece of work Jughead is and she will more determined to be with Shiv. When Dadisa used to emotionally blackmail Anandi when it came to Jagya, Anandi always gives in but this time I don't think Anandi will give in to CM so easily, she isn't the same anymore, she is wiser and will fight anything or anyone that comes her way. CM can take a hike

@ Fuzzyface.,You are just BANG ON on my view of the story going forward...

While i agree with the basic point anjana, i think that these things are not so sorted sometimes subconciously in heads of people portrayed like her - on one hand she held on to staying true to her husbands memories etc , but obviously since she has not grown in openmindedness and basic human genorisity and kindness - so people who remain narrow minded and to some extent even orthododx in thinking often have repressed emotions too .

So on one hand all the reasons you outline hold, the fact that her remaining true to her husband's memories has not also made her a more open hearted human being (who's love and sorrow have not moved her to a more deeper and humane understanding of relationships) also suggests that while she did what she thought was the 'right thing' , over the years there might have been other desires and needs in face of loneliness, which might have been constantly repressed and led to perversly a degree of self righteousness where she cant stomach the idea of a village girl and a divorcee moving on in life like this with her own ladla ...it could be a mix of self righteousness, repression , envy , obsessive love for shiv ( which becomes even more pronounced in single mothers sometimes)...

Unlike anandi - she's not shown with that core of basic unadultered goodness - which would have made annadi welcome these developments if roles were reversed . Afterall - its what we make of ourselves and our lives through our experiences - of love, loss, life ...that makes all that difference . CM 's behaviour betrays the complex emotions of an ordinary woman - with leanings  on the conservative side...

I liked everything you wrote mona except CM being positive...I just think she is STUPID...
