Ranbir might have a chance, he is talented and experiments with his role.

Imran - he is never serious about acting following steps of junior B!!

Shahid - he has potential but just the wrong choice of films and has a diva's attitude! 😳

Ali Zafar - he is good in comedy roles...i don't see a bright future!

Ranvir Singh - he might have talent but his off screen persona is irritating...you can't be a star with that kind of attitude! 👎🏼

Nobody. The dominance of Khans from 1988 (Aamir's debut) - until present in unparalleled and unprecedented. This might be comparable to Dilip Kumar-Raj Kapoor-Dev Anand era only, but the Khans have outlasted them as a unit. The other closest one is Rajesh Khanna-Amitabh Bachhan-Dharmendra, but none of them had the same super success in the same time frame. Just as these 6 are irreplaceable, the Khans are too--even more so as a unit.

Salman Khan - The biggest superstar of the masses; the man with the maximum number of biggest hits for different years; the only superstar with FOUR All-time Blockbusters and also the ONLY actor to deliver Blockbusters in FOUR different decades.

Aamir Khan - The most brilliant contemporary film artist with gems such as Lagaan and Sarfarosh. The only mainstream actor to have a movie nominated in the Oscars from his generation. A man who has set a trend for BO success in the last few years with Ghajini and 3 Idiots. Also, the most visionary of all actors.

Shahrukh Khan - Unprecedented, unparalleled in the international market and is the synonym for consistent success at the BO. Has delivered some of the biggest Hits in the past 20 years, including the longest running movie in Indian BO history. SRK is also a brand name on his own and an actor with an incredible Resume.

Can anybody beat them? Not sure.

Honestly, I don't feel anyone is going gain the amount of stardom
or dominance that the Khans have. I feel there are many talented actors now, and more to come. Hence, I don't think a single person would be able to rule. I also think the actors are more immersed in their roles that the star in them doesn't show. Whereas you see Salman and Srk (barring a few) in the characters they play. As far as Aamir is concerned, it's his accountability and credibility as an actor and a script chooser which brings him to the top.

The media also loves the Khans. Hence, that also adds to their stardom.

I hope nobody really does reach to that position. I personally feel domination is not a good thing. It prevents other talented people from rising. I feel bollywood is too small of an industry, there needs to be an influx of creative minds!

Ps. Nobody can have the charm that Srk possess. Although not a great fan of his, his charm in undeniable. Edited by tulsi003 - 11 years ago
