The shubh colors in our culture are red, orange, yellow, brown, and pink. I'm not sure about purple, but I know definitely that blue, green and black are discouraged.

I'm not even sure the godhbharai will happen now, although I want it to. No one is talking about it. 

Either the Modis timing is off or we are.
