Think how well the actress is portraying Dadi. But yes, she is limit. She is still mourning her son's death and the fact that his son blamed him for that and the otehr lady in question was left free. So now after hearing the same (almost) story with her grand daughter's life, Dadi is more detarmind to save the son-in-law and blame / defame the lady with whom his name was joined, which she could not do in her son's case.

Some how I have a feeling that, Arnav's father might not be guilty of infidility but killed himself because of the fact that his wife killed herself thinking him as a cheater. But with the halfd knowledge based on whatever Arnav heard, he felt his Dad was a troiter and stared hating him. That could be the reason why Dadi is so confident that his judgement is always wrong.
