'a' for 'amalapuram' ( a town's name in Andhra.. described as a place known for beautiful girls..in some  telugu literature in 50s)

aah ante aahapuram (deliberately aah is used in the place of aa...😉)

'aah' for 'aahapuram' ( fictitious place, rhyming with amalapuram)

yeh toh item song hai na... they used 'eela'... not 'elaa'... elaa is this... short form of elaaga

yes this was a huge rage even in Mumbai... my non-telugu juniors sang this song when they came to know, that I am a telugu😆

Good post..tanu ji, ahana amar ke liye bani hain.. Ashni made for each other.. Waise i loved the way nidhi got super lal on hearing kind & sweet words frm aahana for ashu... I felt like nidhi is abt to loos her cool & smack that aahana...
