Hello all! Whew finally caught up things seemed to have moved really fast since I last popped in to read the first pages of analysis. All the writers brilliant as usual! How's everyone liking the pace? I finally feel like we are moving in the right direction story-wise!
Main forum is still a nightmare whether it is negativity about Khushi giving Shyam a chance or a vendetta to throw Anjali out all together. One thing I would like to point out is that THINKING LOGICALLY Anjali has never seen the negativity of Shyam. If you go watch all the earlier episodes, you can definitely see the smoothness Shyam uses to slide out of sticky situations! She seems blind to all his faults and can only see that he's her husband and he's been dealt a harsh punishment by being separated from her!
I haven't been a fan of Anjali recently but she seems to be dealing with what she has been given. No one ever laid the facts out in front of her saying this is actually what happened and this is what your husband did. Mamiji tried and look where it got her! Advocating for woman like Anjali who turn a blind eye to their husbands fault has never sat well with me and this comes from personal experience.
My mom had a friend who's husband got piss drunk every night and used to beat his wife and kids. Now in America you hardly see Indian couples going through this but it was definitely happening. The saddest part was that the wife, though dealing with all this abuse, refused to lay blame on her husband. Instead, she figured that somehow she was in the wrong and to blame for all of the situations at home. It took her a long time to wake up and realize that enough was enough and she needs to take a stand.
As this is a story on TV that gets its ideas from real life situations, I think they're trying to take Anjali as down as she can go, probably to the point where everyone will hate her because she bought into the story that her husband is amazing and he loves her so much. That is when I feel they should bring her back with a bang by making her realize small things that will not sit well with the loving husband she thinks he is!!!
Sorry for the rambling but it was sitting with me too long and I had to let it loose!
