But one thing is true, Shyam's character is worse than Shakuni's character.
What I liked the most in today's episode is Khushi trying to convince ASR to give Shyam another chance. Yes, I know a normal person would call it stupid. But, that is what makes her different from others. The strength to look at everything to be clean and honest is something that people cannot achieve even after meditation. Learned people call that ignorance, but it is not really ignorance. Purity of their heart brings out that strength. Would I do anything even closer to that in real life? Hell no, I am more of don't take shit from anyone.
Another thing I noticed is - there are too many Anjalis in real life. A wife of a drunkard trying to pacify that he will get better the next day is no different from Anjali. Then, Anjali is blind in trusting him for one main reason. No proof of anything. 'Innocent until proven guilty' applies very appropriately in this case. Shyam is so smart (leaving out his stupid experiments of perfume, scorpion and few others) that he has covered his tracks very well. I guess he became a lawyer just for that reason. I feel sorry for Anjali and not mad at her at all. She is hanging on to the only thing she thinks is hers completely. Her brother is married now and has someone else in his life, she has no one. And who can resist the charm of that sweet talk?
Waiting to see how the drama unfolds. I would feel bad if the remarriage is called off not because I want to see romance. But because Arnav will not be able to fight if he doesn't have Khushi with him. If it is called off for the reason of past, then obviously they will part on bitter terms and that means she won't be there for him.
Have fun you all. Some of you write so well.
purity of the heart...you are very true! I suppose it is very stupid and naive of me to say so but I think if I was in a similar situation, I would like to have atleast a little bit of innocence and thirst to see the good in this world in my heart that at least for a moment, I would consider that perhaps this person is really sorry for the loss of his child..
and oh yes, Anjali is very realistic...even Shaymu is realistic...he makes much more sense than your everyday female vamp on Indian serials..I suppose seeing Anjali's dumbness again and again just starts to get on your nerves once in a while..
