The winds were blowing very fast..it was raining cats and dogs..
Any person alone in this situation wud have been tensed nd scared...
But it was not the case with the man sittin in his car parked by d side of road...continuisly cursing the vehicle

""Wat nonsense...isi mausam mei gaadi kharaab honi thi...ab is mausam mei taxi kaha milegi..kisi ko bula bhi nahi sakta...great..perfect""he said wid flaring nostrils
Just then he saw a house on the opposite side of the road..he thought
May b i shud just ask for help...i hope aajkal logo mei itni insaaniyat reh gai hohe thought frustratingly
He got out of the car..nd ran towards the house
He rang the bell
No response
Again he rang the bell
Again no response
He waaited for 5 minutes but no 1 came
Just then he turned around to leave...the door opened

A feminine voice spoke ""ji kahiye?""

As he turned around to reply...he was taken by surprise
""Riya tum?""

""Arjun sir aap...itni raat ko..wats wrong?..is everythng ok""
He didnt reply
She again said
""Sir...u ok?""
He was bought back to d world from his pool of thoughts..he said
"Haan wo meri gaadi kharab ho gai h..itni baarish mei koi taxi ni milegi..to maine socha help lelu..but muje pata ni tha ye tumhara ghar h ""
She replied
"Its alright sir..aap andar aa jaiye.."

Arjun went inside
Riya-sir plz baithiye
Arjun seated himself on the sofa

Riya-sir aap kuch lenge..chai coffee?

Arjun-no thanx...aaannnccchhhiii

Riya-sir mai aapke liye adrak waalu chai laati hu
Arjun(in his arrogant tone )-iski koi jarurat nahi h

Riya-sir..kal hume case ke liye panchgani jaana h..so tabiat theek rahe..isiliye keh ri hu...baaki aapki marzi...rathore sir to hai hi
Arjun gave a glaring look to riya nd said
"Ok fine..cheeni kam daalna par"
Riya-ok sir

She went inside the kitchen
She came back with a cup of tea nd some biscuits
Riya-sir..chai
Arjun-thanks
He said as he took d cup of tea
Riya sat in front of him

As he drank the first sip...a familiar feeling swept thrugh him..nd as a reflex action he spoke out
""Pata h..roshni bhi bilkul same chai banati thi""
Riya smiled a liitle

Arjun realises what he just spoke
""I m sorry..i just got carried away""
Riya-no problem sir
She lowered her face but smile still crept all over her face
Arjun-y r u smiling riya?
She immediately snapped out of her thoughts
Riya-kuch ni sir

Arjun-riya!!!
Ria-vo actually sir..aapka ye soft side kabhi dekha ni na islie

Arjun-kya!!??!
Riya-kuch ni sir
She struck her tongue out as she thought of her foolishess

Arjun smiled a little bit seeing her child like face

Few moments of silent passed..
Finally arjun broke the silence nd said
""Tum yaha akeli rehti ho??.tumhare.mom dad?""
Riya's face lost its color listenin to this

Arjun-kya hua?

Riya replied in a cracked voice
""Sir..unki death ho chuki h..jab mai 6 saal ki thi tab""
Arjun looked at her in shock
Arjun-m sorry riya...i didnt know
Riya..its k sir..
Arjun saw tears building up in riya's eyes
Arjun-plz riya ro mat...i didnt mean to hurt u

Riya-sir...aap apne ap pe blame kyu le rhe h . Its k..aapne jaan buj.ke to nahi kia..vo to bas aise hi yaad aa gai..etf ki officer hu..physically strong hu sir...dil se nahi

Arjun kept on staring at riya's face but the silence between them continued..then he finally snapped out something unexpected
""M sorry ria"
Riya-sir maine aapse kaha na ki...
But before she cud complete her sentence arjun intervened

Arjun-riya...mai abi ki baat nahi kr rha...m talking abt the day..wen i shouted at u for interfering in my personal lyf

Riya-sir vo
Arjun-let me finish...i know tumne vo intentionally nahi kia tha...muje tumhari puri baat sunn ni chaiye thi..m sorry. Plz muje maaf kr do...mai baat krne ka tareeka shayad bhul chuka hu

Riya-its ok sir seriously

Wid that arjun again focused on his tea

Riya positioned herslf to say sumthng but then backed out
Arjun-kya hua
Riya-kuch ni sir

Arjun-bolo riya
Riya-nai sir...vo actually...nothin nothin

Arjun(now annoyed)-speak d hell out ria
As she heard his little harsh scolding voice..she just blabbered out everythn widout any pause

""Sir..vo mai keh rhi thi..ki us din anjaane mei hi sahi..but muje pata lag kya ki aap sabse itne kate kate kyu rehte h. Par sir..agar aap aise jiyenge to kya apki wife ka dil.nahi dukhta hoga..mai jaanti hu jis insaan ne aapko aapki zindagi se alag kia h..aap use saza dena chahte h taaki unki dil ko aatma ko shaanti mile..par sir...kya yeh galat ni h ki jis insaan se vo itna pyaar krti h..vo aise berang zindagi jiye...aapne kabhi socha ki aapki yeh halaat dekh kr vo kitna dukhi hoti hongi..agar aap sikandar ko saza dena chahte h par aise ghut ghut kr jiyenge to vo bhi kaise khush rahengi..sir unke liye hi sahi...aapko zindahi ko jeena hoga..apne liye na sahi..apni wife ke liye""

Riya cudnt believe what she just said..she was so terrified looking at arjun's face who was in a trance figuring out as to what hapend

Not able to bear the silence nymore she said
""M sorry sir...vo mai..""
But before she cud complete anything arjun stood up..nd started moving towards her
She stared inching back terrified as hell
She bumped into d wall..now havin no way to escape
Arjun came near her nd said
""Thank you riya""
She cudnt digest what he said..she just kept staring at him wid her eyes wide open..too terrified nd confused to speak

Arjun again said""darro mat..i m not gonna scold u...tumne himmat krke vo.baat kahi jo shayd kisi ko bhut pehle hi keh deni chaiye thi..par darr ke maaree kuch ni bolte mere saamne..tumne bilkul sahi kaha...sikandar ko chahe mai maar b du..par jab tk mai nhi khush rhunga...roshni ki aatma ko shanti kaise milegi""

Riya smiled aftr listenin to him
He moved away nd said
"Cud i.borrow ur car for a day""
Riya-sure sir..
She fetched him d keys
As he made his way out...he turned around nd said
""Thank u riya mukherjee...its not me but u r the reason roshni will b happy to see her life live again""

Wid this he sat in d car nd drove off

A sweet smile crept on riya's face as she went inside... :):-)
