I promised that I'll give an easy and simple tutorial so that you can try your beautiful designs..I am more familiar to Adobe Photoshop CS5 but I found something that will help you online!
Do try your talents and make wonderful designs, don't worry if you win or not!
Step 1
No need to download any Sofware Designer!! Make Your Banner Online
Collect all Your Pictures needed for the Banner in a folder on your desktop!
Note: If you need any help to find pictures, please PM me or post your quesries in the thread. I'll try to search and send it to you ASAP.
Step 2
Open pixlr editor and choose the First Option (Create a new Image)
A dialog box will appear!! Name the new Image as 'SBS Banner Contest' and Modify the pixels to have a perfect banner size (Width=728 Height=90). Then Click on OK.
It seems to be small but it's acually not!!To see the right size:
Go View > Actual Pixels
Don't forget to Maximize It!!
Your Banner Size is perfect & Now Get Ready For Making It More Beautiful With Different Images of SBS Star Main Cast
Step 3
Now, It's Time To Insert Your Images!
Go File > Open Image/ Open Image URL
If your images are on the Net, then only copy&paste it into the URL or If your images are on your desktop, then Open Image > Choose Your Images
Choose your beautiful images!!
Step 4
Now that you've already chosen your images, you need to set it to the right Image Size so that it fits in the banner
For example: I've chosen 2 TeJya's pictures and suppose I want to fit them in my banner..
Go Image > Image Size
A dialog box will appear. Change only the size of the Height to 90 and the width will adjust by itself according to the image.
Make sure to tick the Constrain Proportions for a proper sizing!
The chosen image will automatically fits to the banner size. Your turn to Copy&Paste it into the Banner
Step 5
How to Copy&Paste the image??
Use the Marquee Tool/Crop Tool to Select the Picture
Once the image is selected, Copy (Ctrl+C) or Go Edit > Copy
You cannot find your banner??
Remember you named your banner 'SBS Banner Contest' in the beginning! Just Press on that arrow pointing down and you will find all your open documents (including your banner and the images you selected before).
Go On Your Banner & Paste Your image (Ctrl +V or Go Edit > Paste)
Use the Move Tool to adjust your images wherever you want to place it!
Do the similar process with all the images chosen and put it all in the Banner.Arrange them in which ever order you like to.You cam simply Copy&Paste all your images if you don't want to be too much creative!
For example: This a the a trial one I made with TeJya's Pictures but it's not complete yet!
If you noticed well, there are three panels (Navigator, Layers & History)
Navigator: Shows You Your Product You're Making!
Layers: Shows You the Layer that you are adding to the Banner. If you want to remove one of them, just click on the tick box or if you want to move one of the layer on the banner, simply select it and use the move tool to adjust the image to the place you want to
History:Shows You the steps you did to reached till far..You can undo or redo the steps!!
Once the images are arranged beautifully, you can make some adjustments with the brightness/contrast, blur, exposure or anything you would like to do to make it look more wonderful. But you need to do the adjustments with each of the images(choose the layers you want to adjust from the Layers Panel) .
Go Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast or Choose Your Choice
Go Filter > Blur or Choose Any Other Functions
Step 6
Merging/Blending pictures together???Any ideas how to do it??
I tried it for the first time online as i usually used PS to make banners!!
For example: I tried the blending options with Gyaan's & Tej's pictures as I found them first on my computer..These are the original pictures

We want to mege these 2 images together!! What do we do??
Use the Lasso Tool to select the part of the image you want to keep. You can select the part perfectly if you can but if not, you can select the main part you want and use the eraser tool to delete the part unwanted.
Use the move tool to move the layer wherever you want to! I tried and here is the result!!
I've got a video tutorial on YT that may also help you to merge the pictures!!Take a look
You can also put a background to your banner if you don't want it to be plain.
Simply look for your background on the Google Images or on any Websites and save it on your computer. Then, do the same process!
Go File > Open Image > Choose Your Background
Change the size of the background to the same size of the Banner (Width=728 Height=90)
Make sure to untick the 'Constrain Proportions'
Then, place your Background underneath all your images of your banner!
For example: I tried with a pale rainbow background.Look at the result!
Step 7
The last but not the least is to write your text after all the pictures are well arranged! Obviously you need to write the title of the show 'Saas Bina Sasuraal'
I found some TeJya's pictures on my computer, so just added them together!!
Use the Type Tool to write Your Text!You can choose your Font Size, Colour & style
First Click on the banner and a dialog box will appear!You write your text and do the settings as per your choice!Press OK and You can move the text wherever you want using the move tool.
Step 8
Your Banner Is Ready To Send!!
Go Flie > Save > My Computer > Click Ok > Choose the place you want to save & Click Save!!
Follow the steps to upload the Banner online in the Banner Contest Thread and PM it to me!
Isn't that easy? Only in 8 simple steps, you make a beautiful banner
