The episode starts with Anuj thinking about what has happened the day (tearing of greetings, telling the truth to mala etc). He thinks about till what time he has to be suffering like this. Vimala chachi, Kusum bhabi, bubli, vibha and ambi are preparing for the engagement. Vibha is looking so scared and she confesses to ambi that she is not able to understand sanjai. She is scared for the relationship. Ambi says that this happens for everyone who undergoes arranged marriage. First its introduction, then its understanding then its friendship then the relation goes to love. Bubli asks in what step ambi is now and ambi says that we are talking about vibhas marriage and not to confuse her relation with that. Bubli says that vibhas relation is in love. Vibha is upset. Vedji asks imarti if he can keep things in vimala chachis place and imarti asks him about the taperecorder, Vedji makes her round and round the house saying places and imarti gets tired because of searching. Vedji says that his memory has become so bad that once he remembers he will inform her. Imarti scolds him and leaves. Ambi is stitching vibha's chuniri and everyone appreciates it. Ambi asks bubli to bring the taperecorder from sajinis room as they are feeling bored. Mala reaches there and says that she didnt sleep yet and she wants to help. Ambi says that after vibha its mala marriage next. Mala asks to change topic but ambi insists that she has to forget the past and give life a chance so that she will get to know how interesting life is. Everyone accepts it and mala is reluctant

Imarti sees that the tape recorder is downstairs and everyone is going to listen to it and rushes down and gets it from bubli so that they wont listen to the dialog inside. Bubli asks why she is taking the tape recorder and imarti says that its no use to sit this late night to do jobs. She asks everyone to go and sleep and get up early to do all jobs, Vimala asks imarti if she has drunken something because she is talking like this. Imarti asks ambi and kusum to go and sleep and everyone leaves. Imarti goes to talk with mala and says that anuj has slept and so there is no chance for him to say the truth. Imarti and mala plans to make anuj and ambi meet alone so that the truth does not come out. Mala says that anuj told everything but because its dark he mistook mala as ambi and so problem didnt arise. Imarti says that she has to do something to keep ambi and anuj at distance. Ambi returns to her room and tosses the dustbin in which anuj has disposed all his gifs and photos ambi put everything inside the dustbin expect the part of the photo which holds anujs face. Ambi sees anuj sleep, she looks at him with love and sleeps. Morning when anuj is woken up by ambi and anuj is about to say the truth. Imarti comes inbetween and gives some work to ambi so that she goes from there. Kusum jiji cleans their room. Imarti says that she has to keep ambi busy so that anuj does not get time to talk to her and at the same time anuj prays that he has to get time to talk to ambi during engagement

Imarti asks ambi to take care of everything as vimala is tensed and shouts vimala is awake or not. Vimala comes and pulls legs of imarti and they both fight(i didnt understand). Srichand calls prakash and vedji down so that they can go to bazzar and decorate the house. Imarti asks ambi to go down and tells her that she will give breakfast to anuj and bring him down. Ambi meets mala and calls her to help in the engagement works. Mala says that she has office work and she will finish that soon and come down. Ambi says that if she helps in doing marriage works of others she will get a good husband. Ambi adds that she has to forget her past as the person whom she has loved is in maag and sindoor of another girl and trying to get him is like playing with 3 families. Mala sees her with anger. Kusum keeps the dustbin in a place and goes down to helo vimala chachi. Sonu plays with ball and the ball turns over the dustbin and all the paper falls down to vimala chachis house where ambi is standing.

Precap

Ambi collects all the pieces of photo and arranges it in a table. She completes the photo except anuj's face. She gets to know that its anuj from the other parts of the photo and starts crying
