Now who can forget Barbara Eden going blink-blink in I Dream Of Jeannie? Certainly not those of you who grew up in the 90s. But as we fondly remembered the times when our favourite Jeannie went wrong oh-so-cutely, we woke up to find out that we'll soon have an Indian adaptation of it. Oh!
What's more, it will be Giaa Manek – more popularly known as the seedhi-saadhi Gopi bahu of Saath Nibhana Saathiya, who was recently eliminated not only from her soap but from the dance reality show she took part in for a brief while, Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 5 – who will play the role of Jeannie in the desi version. Co-starring with her will be the oh-so-funny Ali Asgar in the the role of Vicky, her master. Hmmm, so now what? Should we look forward to a genie going blink-blink and making theplas andaachaar appear? Guess we should."
