Haven't you people been reading my posts? He is helping Mallika as a human being and as a friend, not as Nidhi's husband. There is a father in all men and a mother in all women as Sujata rightly commented. We all try to fulfill vicariously 
our secret desires which very often even we ourselves are not aware of, through some act of ours. Human heart is a mulch-layered phenomenon. I have been trying to dig only a couple of layers. Please do not be so judgmental on Ashutosh or Nidhi so quickly. Logic is there for everything but you are expected to find it. Neither Ashutosh nor I can many times articulate it because I am trying to tell a story, not psychoanalyzing people. KTLK is not a class of psychiatry, it is just a story told by a mad man like me who tries to take logic along but only to a point. When logic starts interfering with my storytelling, I junk it.

Tanuji, I think I am either very confused or very worried, and that depends on what the great man means in both the above statements.

First one, it is a new character.   Does he mean the new guy coming in or SK. Is he going to change ashu's character in some way?Confused

Which way and how far it goes.   
Does this mean the new track with Dheeraj, or the current separation track.?Confused

Can u explain it to me please.Embarrassed

Maybe this means that Nidhi might be leaving KGH for a while. And Ashutosh will be left at the hosp, and have to do seva for his friend, instead of making nidhi do it. 
That way they can show brief scenes of ashu and mallu, since both the actors will be busy for their film shoots. And nidhi can have holiday with family and friends.
