no eliminations today! pillai nila (220) and vellai thamarai (216) were in the danger zone and the judges were asked asked to eliminate one team .. why this question/ rule change? after discussing, TR said he wants to see the remaining 5 kudumbams before deciding which team(s) to eliminate. I think there's going to be 3 eliminations next week and we'll know the SUPER 8! Wink

I found it unfair how there was no elimination this week, they have been eliminating teams weekly then to not eliminate a team this week was a little weird.

TR as a judge...I'm liking him as a judge, really positive and encouraging to the participants. He seemed like the easier judge this week.

Overall performances were better.

Just wish Thendral team and Nitesh got to perform in front of TR.

Heard the promos on TV and my dad was saying how Deepak is here now. So Deepak is hosting the show I guess until it ends or just few episodes?

Too bad to see Thendral eliminated, I kinda expected more from them but want to see Deepak hosting also.

SUPER 8 - Match 1

The format of SUPER 8 ROUND-ROBIN LEAGUE is, every team will compete with any two of the seven teams on a HEAD TO HEAD basis. In each episode a team has to give 3 performances (1 song, 1 dance and 1 variety).

The Top 4 scoring teams will head to the SUPER 4 -- Semi-Finals.

Uravugal vs Thirumathi Selvam

Round 1 - song

Gowri (uravugal) - "nenjukkule" - 26

Selvam (thirumathi selvam) - "ayayayoo aananthamey" - 17

Round 2 - dance

Vasu (thirumathi selvam) - rhythm dance - 22

Gayathri (uravugal) - peacock dance - 23

Round 3 - drama skit

Thirumathi selvam - killing a girl child and then longing for one - 25

Uravugal - "love comes in different sizes" - 30

Total

Uravugal -79

Thirumathi selvam - 64

Amul cool attagasamaana perfomer - swetha (uravugal)

Yesterday's episode was probably the best so far.

Gayatri was looking really beautiful and nice to see Deepak hosting but it looks like he is also supporting TMS.

Both teams did well and tried something new it was good to see.
