Hey guys...am caught in a some family things right now so I'm going to copy and paste the live update I had given Lubz Di earlier today on FB while watching the epi...forgive any mistakes/ if you don't understand anything or if I'm missing anything in the update.  Will be back with gupshup comments and corrections later :)

Written Update: August 21, 2012

The C's and S's get someone to act like the event organizer...(His mustache starts falling off at one point and Pashu basically attacks him to push it back on, LOL!!!)..Tej-Smiley try telling him that they aren't married and Tej says he doesn't know salsa but the "organizer" says that the "behenji" that put their names down left a CD with proof that they know salsa and shows the CD of them practicing together with Toasty in the background...he says the behenji told him that you both are married so how can you not be? If you aren't then I'll file a case against the girl...Toasty then comes up on the CD (Not Aish's voice though :'( ) and she tells them that it is her last wish that they win this competition >.< and whether they can't do this for her?

Smiley calls the landlord of her apartment and tells him that she needs 10-15 days before shifting as the family she's staying with needs her help. Tej comes to talk to her and they both decide to do the competition..."itna toh kar hi sakte Toasty ke liye" *Sigh* Toasty knows just how to emotionally blackmail them :@ :@ >.< ?

Everyone is making sure that Smiley and Tej only get to practice..so Smiley isn't allowed to do any work and Pashu tells Tej to stay at home and practice and win for toasty...Gyaan and Prachin do a little imitation salsa :D while telling Tej to give a takkar to the professionals, he has to practice. :P ?

Small C meeting in the hall and "Chutki Toasty" makes a cute little face that Malti says is her wish of good luck so Tej and Smiley will definitely win the competition.

Tej-Smiley practicing salsa ...there's a part where Tej's hand is at Smiley's waist and she looks at his hand on her waist and freezes -_- (I don't know if they're trying to show she's uncomfortable or trying to show her falling for Tej :@ It better be the first option) Tej stops the music and asks her what's wrong and she says she forgot to give meds to Malti..

She runs out of the room and is kind of breathless and wonders why she felt so confused while dancing :@ :@ *Bangs head against wall* She wonders why she is feeling so weird >.<

She goes to check up on Malti...Malti took meds herself...Tej calls her back to practice...she's a little reluctant outside the room and then walks in and tries to act like herself but is a little awkward...they start practicing again and she freezes again when Tej puts his hand on her waist :@ >.< She remembers Sudha telling her that Toasty knew that only married couples could participate in the competition.

Tej asks her what's wrong and Smiley says she has to warm up milk for the baby and tries to make excuses for getting her work done and Tej says but we need to practice otherwise there's no way we can win...Smiley tries to avoid and tells Tej to practice on his own and Tej is upset and says but I won't be dancing alone there so how will that help...Smiley gets an idea. LMAO!!!! Tej practicing with Prachin!!! :D :D :D ?

Dadaji is saying to Malti why didn't he go to college and looks like I'll have to do something and goes off...Tej gets irritated with Prachin as he starts joking off and Tej says he's useless and walks off.

Prachin gets upset and Smiley tells him to prove to Tej that he is not useless and learn salsa and Prachin says yes..he'll rehearse and practice and next year even participate and win!

Dining table..Pashu asks how practice went and Tej says nothing too great, it was ok...they ask why...Dadaji explains that Smiley had work and put Prachin as her dummy and Tej says but that failed because her dummy is a dummy (I couldn't stop myself from a chuckle at that...it was such a Ravi line...reminded me of his "phool for a fool" that he said to Aish once :D) He says that Prachin is too stiff..light moment..Nitika is going to take a chutti to do work at home so that they can practice...Smiley looks a little upset that she won't have her housework excuse anymore.

Dadaji gives Tej the scoring details that he's read and explains what all they will be scored on. Malti asks if they've decided what to wear yet. Tej says anything..they tell them that they have to dress nicely and Gyaan says they should wear something chamkeeli as that's what everyone wears on TV in such competitions.

Pashu says he has a friend that they can get clothes from as he supplies for TV and movie people..Next day...Tej gets on his bike and Smiley reluctantly stands and Tej tells her to sit. She is unable to sit properly and Tej teases her and says you're acting as if you've never sat on a bike before...she says I've sat many times and he said lagta hai, you've sat with the intention to fall today. He holds out his hand and tells her to hold it...he lifts her hand up and places it on his shoulder and tells her this is how you should sit. (:@ :@ Peeche ke handle ko kya huwa!?!?! :@ :@) The bike jerks when he starts to drive and she falls into him...she apologizes and is flustered and Tej apologizes that he should have started more carefully..he asks her to hold on properly too otherwise where will he find another dance partner if she falls...he turns back around and Smiley notices some of her lipstick got on his shirt and she tries to wipe it off...Tej asks about it and she says nothing, there's just something on your shirt but it's gone now...she holds his shoulder again and they go.

Smiley is lost in thoughts >.< ...she refuses a black dress that the shop person shows and picks a different one that doesn't look all that great...Tej says the black one was better but Smiley says she doesn't want that one..Tej looks on a rack and picks out a royal blue one and tells her to try that one and that it'll match the black shirt that he got too...Smiley is unsure and says that she doesn't like it...he says trust me, you'll look so good that whoever looks at you will keep looking. (Tej, phir tum usse dekhna bhi mat). He tells her to try both and see which one she likes.

Chalo last part...she doesn't like the dress she picked out when she holds it up in front of the mirror...she likes the one Tej picked out and tej comes and says see I told you, you would look good in this one...he holds up his black top and says see, we look perfect together. *Sigh* We should look perfect like this on the stage...phir bhi take your time deciding and meanwhile I'll go buy this top. He goes and the shop person comes back and tells her she should get that dress and she really does look nice in it...a random boy also comes and says the same and tells her that she is really lucky to have a boyfriend like that :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ and that they both look really good together. Smiley had a slightly flustered look...epi ends.

Pre-cap: Day of the competition and they are going for the rehearsal, sound check and everything...family wishes them luck..Malti gives dahi shakkar...Shobha comes with prasad for them.

Sorry about the unpolished version of the update for yesterday

As you can see...watching it through the first time yesterday, I was "slightly" upset about Smiley >.<  I did watch it a second time just now on TV and was able to enjoy it a little more after getting my instinct to be angry out of the way.  I'm prepared for every scenario...or at least trying to be prepared.  Right not there are two possibilities (or possibly three):

A. Tej and Smiley will get married at the end...otherwise why would Smiley start to fall in love with Tej...and Tej will probably make a compromise and agree on basis of friendship and for Toasty.  Unless they are about to get married but then option B occurs??

B.  Smiley will find out about Toasty still being alive and will bring her back...otherwise why didn't they just have Toasty completely disappear for good...they could have just left it without showing that she is still alive.  I think this is what is making things a little harder for us is that we know Toasty is still alive so while Toasty is for sure still alive, we aren't sure how to react to everything that is happening...ignoring the fact that everything is being rushed in terms of emotions and grief period.

C. Smiley will fall in love with Tej but because Tej refuses to get married to her, they simply remain as friends and Smiley stays with the C's to take care of them out of her own love...and then Toasty returns at the very end, finding out that the whole brain tumor diagnosis was wrong and she is completely fine.


I am already starting my training for my next mission...Mission "Accept Tej-Smiley Possibility" because I don't want to be upset and wanting to break my TV if this is the way the CVs are going to end SBS so I'm going to teach myself to start accepting them in case Toasty never does come back <3
