Galaxy Note 10.1 Video Converter-Convert 1080p videos and movies to MP4 for Galaxy Note 10.1 on Windows/Mac computer

Watching videos on the Galaxy Note 10.1 is a pleasure for a number of reasons. Not only that the 10.1-inch screen with aspect ratio of 16:10 provides plenty of display real estate, but the stock video player supports a wide variety of codecs and resolutions. Our MPEG4, DivX and XviD video samples played back smoothly even at 1080p, with seamless rewinding and fast forwarding and without dropping a frame. On top of that, the pop-out play feature is available as well, which keeps the video playing in a separate and resizable window.

But there're week points as well. The device can't handle videos of very high bitrate well- when I put some 1080p MKV rips from Blu-ray, it stutters. My other concerning is the storage. 32GB is not enough for HD movie lovers like me, considering that an HD MKV file takes up 8-10GB. Surely you can add a MicroSD card to Galaxy Note 10.1, but it brings a new problem: Android compatible MicroSD cards are FAT32 formatted and will not accept any file over 4GB.

How to downsize the 1080p MKV/AVI/MP4 videos to Galaxy Note 10.1 playable video that suits MicroSD card? And keep the best possible quality? A good solution is using Pavtube Video Converter, which lets you compress HD 1080p movies to Galaxy Note 10.1 optimized videos and downsize them to less than 4GB. The converter performs faster and supports more variety of source formats than over-majority competitors on market. Even TiVo recordings can be converted to Galaxy Note 10.1 (see how to
put TiVo to Galaxy Note 10.1)

Here's a Windows-based guide of how to convert 1080p videos and movies to H.264 MP4 for Galaxy Note 10.1.

Step 1. Drag and drop source 1080p MKV/AVI/MP4 video to the Video Converter.

Step 2. Click the pull down menu at the opposite side of "Format", and then choose "Samsung" ->"Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (*.mp4)" format.

Step 3. Click "Convert" button to start compressing HD videos to Galaxy Note 10.1 friendly format and size.

And you can preview and customize output file size.
To do this, click on "Settings" button. In the pop-up Profile Settings window you can find set settings and check task details. The upper parts shows you the a/v settings you're using. The lower part displays the file information.

In the above image, you can see that the target file size for "Avatar" is 2.4 GB.

File size depends on the bitrate you use. For instance, in this case, I use the defualt bitrate 2000kbps, and it ends up generating a 2.4 GB .mp4 file. If I set video bitrate to 1500kbps, the final file will be 1.8GB in size. If you want smaller file size, set video bit rate down.

When 1080p HD video to Galaxy Note 10.1 conversion completes, you can click "Open" button to find generated 1080p videos on Mac. Now you can sync movies to Galaxy Note 10.1 with Samsung Kies and movies on the slab!

In case that you run a Mac computer, download
Galaxy Video Converter for Mac and follow the steps above for converting 1080p HD MOV/MP4/M4V to Galaxy Note 10.1.

Here's a note for Apple fans: this video converter does not support movies purchased from iTunes store. The iTunes movie and TV shows purchases are protected by DRM from using on non-Apple devices. To hack/crack DRM protections of iTunes 1080p HD movies and TV, you need DRM removal tool –

ChewTune for Mac. The guide below shows you how to use ChewTune to crack DRM and convert iTunes 1080p movies to Galaxy Note 10.1 playable videos.

Preparation:

1. Set iTunes not to remember playback position.

2. Set iTunes to 32bit when/if you use ChewTune on Mac OS X Lion.

Guide of converting iTunes 1080p movie to Galaxy Note 10.1 supported video format:

Step 1. Run Pavtube ChewTune for Mac. The first time you use the software it will ask you to put in the password for user account of your Mac computer.

Step 2. Add your iTunes movies to the software. Click "Add" and browse to your movie library to select movies.

Step 3. Press on "Format" bar and choose "Samsung">> "Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (*.mp4)".

Step 4. Press on the big Convert button to start converting iTunes movies to Galaxy Note 10.1 compatible videos.

The app needs iTunes to run background while converting iTunes movies, so don't close iTunes until conversion completes.

For iTunes rented movies, once you paid and downloaded to your mac, you have 30 days to watch it. After 30 days, the movie will be deleted itself. And when you start to play the movie, you have only 24 hours to watch it. Moroever, due to the DRM protection, we cannot enjoy iTunes rented movies on any other media devices like Android phones, PSP, Zune, Zen, Blackberry, etc.

If you want to get rid of these restrictions to enjoy the rentals movies anytime or anywhere as you like, follow this video tutorial, and you can achieve it easily by yourself.
