Introduction

Arnav Singh Raizada-   27yrs old. Lost his parents in a bomb blast, in a terrorist attack in the hotel his sister was getting married when he was 16, his paternal uncle had tricked him into forging the will to his favour and kicking him and his Di out. He is a bitter man and angry at his fate but not to the extend we see in the show. Arnav dropped his father's surname after he got no backing from his paternal grandmother after his parents death, his father had married his mother against the wished of his grandmother and had never really stood up for his mother during her life span and had left no real alternatives-monetarily- for his Kids as well. He does not hate his father, but sees him as a weak man and makes sure he is nothing like him, for he resembles his father a little too much.

Anjali Manohar Jha-  31yrs old. A business woman, who juggles her family while giving her best to her career. Manipulative to her bone when it comes to match making, especially when it comes to her brothers; she never lets a chance go by for romance to bud.

             Co-Owner of: AR textiles with Aakash Singh Raizada

Married to: Shyam Manohar Jha

Shyam Manohar Jha - 32yrs old (P.S. he is a positive character here+ a lead of a sub-plot)

Owner of: Jha Merchandise

Lives at: Shantivan on Anjali's insistence but has an ancestral home in Lucknow his dead parents left him.

Sarika Shyam Jha-  4yrs old. (Chun-mun)  please read Sarika as chun-mun in the FF

Student of: Mother Care L.K.G

Aakash Singh Raizada- 25yrs old (He is spunkier than in the show)

Finance wiz and handles all finance for AR Fashion+ AR Textile (co-owner)+Jha Merchandise. He started working with Jha Merchandise when he was 18yrs; this is how Anjali had met Shyam.

Mama, Mami and Nani along with legions of Prakash brothers have the same temperament.

Shashi Gupta: was married before and had Khushi with his first wife, his first wife died of child birth during their second child who also did not survive the event, leaving Khushi motherless, he married Garima to provide Khushi a mother and adopted payal as his daughter.

Garima Gupta: was married before and Payal was her daughter from her first marriage, she was a widow and had a re-marriage.

Payal Gupta: 24yrs old Real father died when she was nine, very attached to Shashi.

 Qualified teacher, used to teach at the near-by nursery school in Lucknow.

Knows of her past and remembers shyam

Khushi Kumari Gupta: 21yrs old Mother died when she was 7yrs old.

Fresh graduate of BSc. Textile from Lucknow

 Knows of her past, but is close to Garima, who has always treated her as her own daughter. Believes her mother and brother have now become stars and ties rakhi to the fake stars on her bed in rakshabandhan. Payal also ties rakhi to a particular star and refers it to as shyam bhaiya.
