I wrote an extremely long comment and IF decided that it contained invalid words and so, I have to write it all again. Anyway..
HOLY SMACKREL! I can NOT believe myself. Or YOU. You had this amazing piece of work and you didn't even tell me! I had to find out from an Archive Mansion (bless you Aanchal!)
Pree, THIS makes my writing go sit in a dark corner of a very dark room (that has no windows) and bawl like a baby!
THIS. IS. I-don't-have-any-words-for-how-amazing-this-is.
I fell in love with the title itself, and once I began reading, I got lost. Lost on that empty street, on that railway platform, sitting on the train watching Kiya and KD interact. I honestly kept scrolling down hoping that it wouldn't end. I scrolled through all the pages just in case you decided to write more. I mean, I know, it'd have lost its charm if you had.
The word 'streetlight' set the mood of the work so well! Plus, this work didn't have many dialogues at all, merely thoughts, which made this writing so freaking powerful! With Kiya thinking that their relationship couldn't change to KD's 'act of humanity' deed. Their silence spoke volumes! How he helped her when the goons were ogling her by simply walking next to her; how he lent her his jacket, not being able to see her shivering; Her feeling 'at home' after wearing his jacket. *insert fan girl squeal*
The detail is taken car of extremely well and this just oozed out the personalities of the two. Less words uttered, still can't help but feel comfortable around the other.
Dammit Pree, I'm ordering you. You have to write an SS. Or an FF. Whichever one suits you. You sent me into 'la la land' after this, I'm not joking. It made my day! Kudos woman! Respect!
