Because ultimately it is Sudha who bears the brunt of GW's tortures when Thuls falls over backwards to help GW. And any woman having to be on the end of GW's tirades will end up angry; YES, even Thuls holder of infinite patience, got angry when goaded by GW. Both TA and Puvi had agreed upon giving only a certain amount of money to GW, yet Thuls goes behind their backs and gives GW ten times the agreed amount. To cap things of, Thuls aids the same woman who had repeatedly made Thuls' life a living hell, planned to get TA married to Charu and literally beat Thuls up on the streets. As for TA giving money to Lav, remember the last time that happened? Sudha/Puvi had to end up bailing TA from loan sharks. Obviously they would be vary of TA giving money to anyone associated with GW.
I'm not arguing that what either Sudha/Puvi said or did is completely right. However, TA and Thuls, especially, should think about the consequences of their actions. Thuls, who acts so morally just and insists on punishing Bhuv, is hypocritically forgiving towards GW. To insist on aiding someone who continues to berate and insult T&T as opposed to paying back a loan to a struggling dear friend, just reeks of double standards...and is impossible to forgive. Thuls should stop offering aid to ungrateful people like GW, Lav, TPS's mom, Padma, Lax, and MM (yes, him...believes what everyone else says about his daughter without even considering the possibility that his daughter knows what she is doing and that he should have faith in her). Instead, she should focus on helping herself (in her studies), TA and Kalyani. Everyone else is old enough to fend for themselves and solve their own problems.😡
