Your prediction sounds pretty good. I feel K's mom never had feeling for A's dad. Thus making A's Dad and shyam exactly the same. That would explain why A immediately judged K after the the terrace scene. Maybe he saw his dad hugging K's mom or something and that's the 'uss raath' that everyone's talking about.
