One more thing... I got my exams since 10th.. so next update after 18th...

PART 25...

Later that night... Rams chachu n Vikram were sitting on the terrace.. Vikram was telling him all that happened during the day.. Ram and Priya fighting.. Ram shouting at Priya.. Etc etc...
They decided to talk to Ram and make him understand that what so ever happens, a husband has to listen to his wife...
Ram finished his dinner and walked into the terrace...
R: Arre vik.. chachu.. whats up..
C: Ram... Ye tu ne kya kar dia.. Arre
R: Khana kha k aa raha hu.. Kuch galat kia kya??
V: Abbe ghade.. ye teri aur Priya ki ladaai ki baat kar rahe hai..
C: Haan.. Aur na.. Chahe jo bolo.. Ek couple k beech me jab ladaai hoti hai na.. Pati ko hi dabna padta hai..
V: Tu uspe rob jhadega na.. teri shamat hai..
R: Ek minute haan...PRIYA.. PRIYA... ARRE SUNO TOH...
He called out for her... Vik n Chachu gave him scared looks...
V: Arre tu bhabhi ko kyu...
R: Shhh
Priya called out from inside the house..
P: Kya hua Ram...
R: Priya zara saunf laogi plz..
P: Haan bas do minute..
C: Gaya.. aaj toh tu gaya...
Priya came in with a bowl of saunf in her hand.. she came up and stood behind Ram.. Smiling, she extended the bowl towards him.. Ram gave her a cute smile and looked at her like a kid.. With a cute smile on his face, he leaned back on his chair and opened his mouth..
Priya took a spoonfull of the saunf and put it in his mouth with all the love she could show.. Then lookin at Chachu n Vikram, She offered them the saunf.. They kept looking at the couple amazed and shy at the same time.. Priya tried to walk away from there.. The moment she turned, Ram pulled her hand and looked at her smiling.. She was trying to release herself from his grip... And that made her bangles jingle... Ram listened to it as if he was wanting to hear only that.. He released her hand and she walked towards the door.. As soon as she reached the door, she turned back..

P: Kitna time lagega aapko jaan...
R: Bas 5 min me aya darling...
P: Ok.. Mai aap ka intezaar kar rahi hu.. dont make me wait...
R: Yaa baby... coming...

Giving him a naughty smile, she left...
Chachu and Vikram kept looking at him dumbfound.. And Ram gave them the learn something from me look...

Later.. Priya was sitting in the room reading a novel.. Ram entered the room bursting out... He sat on the bed next to her and continued laughing.. Priya ingored him for a while... Then..
P: Aap jante hai na k jab aap aose haste h toh..
R: Haq pata hai.. mere kide lage daant dikhte hai.. fir bhi hasna hai mujhe...
P: Aisa b kya ho gaya??
R: Arre yaar.. kya mazza aaya.. i swear... He told her all that happened since he came home...
R: Upar se wo tumhare saunf wala tadka... ab dono ko lagta h ki mai tumpe rule kafta hu aur tum mere under ho.. aur ye baat sach nahi... unke chehre dekhne layak thhe.. and the dialogue.. Aapko kitna time lagega Ram... waaahhh.. Kya baat hai... Jhakaas...
And both sat laughing... After a while..
P: Chaliye.. bht late ho gaya hai.. soo jate hai..
R: Haan chalo...
He got up from the bed and wwemt to the couch... Priya in an instant got into the duvet and laid down..
P: Goodnight Ram..
R: Goodnight...
He laid down on the couch..
R: Monday couch tuesday bed.. wed couch.. thu... Oh shut.. Priya aaj..
P: Pata hai pata hai.. aaj thu h... your turn to sleep on the bed... Mujhe laga aap bhul gaye..
R:OH hello... bhoola nahi hu mai.. aur agar by chance mujhe aadhi raat ko yaad ata na.. mai tab jagata tumhe.. samji..
P: Haa ok whatever.. ab so sakte hai??
The next morning.. The first thing Priya does after getting ready is to go to the kitchen.. KK was getting things ready for breakfast...
P: Maaa..
KK: Haa beta.. kuch chaiye .
P: Maa aap mujhe khana banane sikhane wali thhi na...
KK: Arre haa haa.. kyu nahi.. isiliye ayi ho?
P: Ji maa...
that made KK very very happy... She taught Priya how to cook... Meanwhile Ram got a call.. And he looked worried... He called up Priya and they decided to meet up at the park...
P: Kya hua ab batayenge bhi...
R: Tumhe pata hai na mera interview hone wala thha kal online..
P: Haa..
R: Toh ab wo postpone ho gaya h.. and koi Mr Harry India aye hue h.. so wo personally lena chahte h mera interview...
P: Oh great.. Thats good news...
R: Good news nahi hai.. arre interview k tentative dates honeymoon k dates se clash kar rahe hai...
P: Toh aap kerala se jayenge interview dene??
R:Arre aise kaise... Nahi ho payega...
P: Arre kyu.. kya problem hai...
R: Ab na.. mera ek friend h... Kumar.. uske hard disk pe mera data h.. ab mai uske paas gaya.. hard disk li.. data copy kia aur hard disk wapas de aya..
P: Toh ab?? Mil gaya na data.. fir kya problem hai??
R: Fir kya.. aise 12 doston k paas 12 hard disk h.. Kerala m baith k kaise ikatta karu data...
P: Shya.. Kya problem h..
R: Darling.. Sweetheart... see.. listen.. I know k tumhe mere sath honeymoon pe jana hai.. but see janu.. problem genuine h na.. i know hum boat house m titanic pose m khade nahi ho sakte lekin kya kare... i know tum mujhse pyar..
P: Ram shut up.. shee.. kya bol rahe h... mujhe aisa kuch nhi h k aap k sath jana h... bas gharwale.. koi plan h??
Ram gave his trademark naughty smile.. He held out his mobile to her.. She read the contents n was shocked...
P: Ye plan h??
R: Yes baby...

Later that night.. Ram & Priya were in their room... It was Priyas turn to sleep on the couch.. Ram was sitting on the bed working on hos laptop.. Priya was trying to sleep but couldnt.. she was totally restless..
She woke up suddenly perspiring... Ram couldnt understand what was wrong.. She went on blabbering about the next days plan.. She was scared about how that was gonna work out...
R: Priya.. Priya tum bed pe so jao.. ill sleep on the couch... Wo kya hai na.. thoda comfortable rahogi toh so paogi...
Priya shifted her base to the couch...
P: Ram.. agle 3-4 din mai bed par hi soungi..
R: Ye.. This is not fair.. bed pe sone k lie tum ne itna natak kia.. not done...
P: Aisi nahi hu mai.. muje na bht tension ho raha hai.. aur jab tension hoti hai na mujhe neend nahi aati...
R: Ok ok... Fine...

The next morning.. KK was banging at RaYas door.. n Both of the were in deep sleep.. Ram woke up & went to open the door.. Priya was still sleeping..
KK: beta chalo.. get ready.. its 8.. 12.30 ki flight h na tumhari.. chalo...
Her eyes suddenly fell on the couch and the ruffled duvet..
KK: R kal Priya ki peeth m phir dard thha??
R: Priya ki peeth m dard kyu
Saying this, he turned around and his eyes fell on the couch too...
R:Haa kal uski peth me dard thha...
KK: Toh ab wo bed pe kyu soyi h??
Ram was speechless for a split second and covered hos face as if he was blushing...
R: Kya maa.. har baat batana zaruri h kya?
Kk understood his intension and left smiling...

In some time, The whole Kapoor family was waiting down in the hall to wish them.. Ram & Priya were still in the room... Suddenly there was a huge noise... All rushed up to see what happened...
As soon as they entered the room, they saw Ram on the floor, wincing in pain.. Priya was next to him trying to get him up.. but failing miserably... All lent their hands and made him lie on the bed..
Priya stood at one carner silent.. Tere was chaos in the room.. all trying to console Ram..
KK: Priya beta.. tu chinta mat kar.. Ram theek ho jayega...
Then something struck her.. She ran and sat on the bed and took Rams face on her lap.. He hugged her around the waist.. His head burried in her lap.. He was shouting out in Pain... Everyone was fussing over him..
AK: Ek min.. koi doc ko toh bulao..
Everyone started panicking again.. Nuts took her phone to call the doc when Ram actioned something to Priya..
P: Ek min.. Doc ko bulane ki koi zarurat nahi hai...


Precap: Thpda aur romance... aur kya?? LOL...
No actually i havent thought abt it yet... Bit maybe RaYa cookin together this time..

His neck was paining badly and he needed someone to apply something on it.. Who could be better than dadi to do that.. U know na.. dadi nani ke haath me pata nahi kya jadoo hota hai.. fatt se saara dard bhaga dete hai.. so ram went to dadi's room..

Dadi was sitting on her bed.. As soon as she saw ram, she talking to someone over the phone..

Dadi: haan.. wo hai na.. tera bhai.. haan Ram..  toh usne shadi karne ka faisla kar lia hai.. are nahi' haan pata hai tum ne kaha tha uski shaadi me tum apne lie lehanga banvaogi.. par wo asha adhuri rehne wali hai.. are lehanga pehn ne ke lie shaadi ki rasm hona bhi toh zaruri hai.

Dadi: Kya hua matlab.. ye golu aur bahu ne na.. wo kya kehta hai.. han wo reg marriage karne ka faisla kia hai.. haan.. *sniff sniff.. arre hum logo ki bhi toh kitni ashayein thhi..

She acted as if she saw Ram and quickly put the phone down.. Ram went into her room.. dadi se massage karvaya and got up and started walking towards the door.. dadi expected him to react.. say something.. but hedid not.. did not unless he reached the door.. and then he turned back and nodded his head in negative..

Ram: Dadi.. ek baat.. shaadi registered hi hogi.. meri jaan nikal gayi na toh bhi mai reg marriage hi karunga..

Saying so. He stomped out.. dadi shouting at his back.. RAM!!!

At Sharma house..

Priya woke up and went towards the door of her room.. She stood silently there when she heard her dad and bua talk about marriage plans..

Bua: Bhaiyya hume boht shopping karni hai.. kitne saare log hai.. unke lie gifts lene hai.. relatives ke lie kapde lene hai..

Sudheer: are Prachi. Tu buddhi hoti jaa rahi hai.. yaa phir kahin sadma toh nahi lag gaya na tujhe? Rokha ka bhoot kya utra nahi.. Bacche registered marriage karne wale hai.. yaad hai??

Bua: yaad toh hai bhaiyya.. Par bacche nadaani kar rahe hai toh kya hum bhi unke sath jud jaye? Nahi na.. Unhe reet riwaz ki samajh nahi hai.. hume toh hai..unhe in sab cheezon ki ahmeyat nahi pata.. aap ko aur mujhe toh pata hai na..

Priya came out of the room.

Priya: Ye shaadi hai.. Koi business deal nahi hai.. Ye kya laga rakha hai. Lena dena.. kya zarurat hai inn sab ki jab registered marriage hone wali hai.

Bua: Priya beta.. tujhe inn sab me interfere karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai.. tu bas time pe registrar ke paas aa jana.. baki hum sambhal lenge..

Priya: Lekin zaruri hai kya ye len den?

Bua: Dekh beta.. ye humari izzat ki baat hai.. log kya kahenge. Beti ko bhya dia aur wo bhi khali hath.. tere sasuraal wale kya sochenge? Arre tere papa ki naak kat jayegi samaj me..

Priya just nodded her head and left the place..

Later that evening.. Ram and priya were to meet for coffee.. Ram was sitting in the Restaurant waiting for Priya who was in a cab..

Ram: Yaar.. Baithe baite bore ho raha hai.. Ek kaam karta hu.. Login karta hu.. boht din ho gaye hai site pe gaya nahi hu..

And he logged in.. Priya was stuck up in a traffic jam and was bored.. She logged in too..

MsAtti: HI!

FattyK: Hey!! Kaisi ho?

Ms.Atti: im good.. Tum batao kaha thhe itne din? Arre I wanted to tell you something..

FattyK: Mee to.. Ladies first..

Ms.Atti: Peetna mat!! Please!! IM GETTING MARRIED!!

FattyK: WHAT? Seriously!!!!

Ms.Atti: Haan!! Said yes to the guy I met after we chatted the last time!! Ab tum.. What were u about to say??

FattyK: The exact same thing that you just told me.. Im getting married and I said yes to the girl I met..

Ms.Atti: Wow!! What a coincidence!! Accha hai.. Dono ne haan kar dia.. warna koi ek dusre ke haat marta.. Hai na..

FattyK: haan.. lol!! Waise kaha ho tum?

Ms.Atti: On my way to meet my fianc.. Tum?

FattyK: Waiting in a restaurant for my fianc.. She should have been here by now..

Ms.Atti: Hey listen.. I almost reached.. Catch up later.. Bye..

FattyK: Bye..

Soon Ram put his phone down and looks around.. It was a nice caf with a  middle eastern dcor.. The aroma of fresh coffee and yummy snacks was lingering in the air.. Ram was about to call for a waiter when he saw Priya entering the caf.. She came up and sat opposite Ram.. Her eyes then fell on the 4 empty coffee mugs on the table and an empty plate containing same scraps of his cheesy snack and wafers..

Priya: Baap re Ram!! Aap ne itna kuch kha lia adhe ghante me..

Ram: haan toh baithe baithe boe ho raha tha.. Tum ne kitna time laga dia aane me..

Priya: Haan wo sorry.. Traffic tha.. par Ram.. ek baat bolu? Aap aise hi khate rahe na toh aap GB Fall ho jayenge..

Ram: GB pata hai.. GigaBytes.. GB Fall kya hai?

Priya: Ghar baithe Football.. hehe..

Ram: Stop it yaar.. Accha wo sab chodo.. Tum kya logi?

Priya: aah' Coffee!!

Ram: Sirf coffee..

Priya: Wo kya hai na ram.. mai apni sehat ki boht chinta karti hu.. I love myself you know..

Ram: Ok Ok.. change the topic please..

Priya: theek hai.. Ok Ok..

Ram: Waise ek funny baat batau?

Priya: haan boliye na..

Ram: meri na ek chat buddy hai..

Priya: Haww.. Meri.. Ladki hai..

Ram: haan toh.. Ladki hai.. kyu problem hai?

Priya: arre.. Mujhe kya problem hone lagi? Aap ki ladkiyaan bhi dost hai toh mujhe kya?

Ram: Arre baba.. Itna jalo mat.. Chat buddy hai.. maine usse dekha nahi hai kabhi..

Priya: Oh accha accha.. Waise mai jal nahi rahi thi..

Ram: Dikh raha tha.. haan toh aage suno.. so we both were against shaadi.. last time jab hum logo ne chat kia tha.. hum ne decide kia tha ke shaadi ke lie haan nahi bolenge.. Par the next day, I ended up saying yes to u and usne bhi kisi aur ko haan bol dia..

Priya looked at him shocked..

Priya: Aur phir aap ko ye baat aaj pata chali ke usne shaadi ke lie haan kar dia hai?

Ram: Haan.. tumhe kaise pata?

Priya: FattyK.. Nice to meet you!!

Now it was Ram's turn to be shocked..

Priya: Kya? Nahi samaj aya? Mai hi hu aap ki chat buddy.. Ms.Atti'

Ram: U know what this means? This is  destiny darling.. This is destiny!!

And both burst out laughing.. After sometime..

Ram: Yaar.. Dadi ne phir se emotional drama shuru kar dia hai.. shaadi ke lie..

Priya: Papa aur bua toh shaadi ke purchases ki list banane me lage hai..

Ram: Pata hai problem kya hai..

Priya: ki hum boht straightforward generation hai.. Jo dil me aya bol dete hai.

Ram: Right.. inki tarah baat ko ghumana nahi aata.. Emo blackmail karna nahi aata..

Priya: Pata hai bua kya bolti hai' log kya kahenge. Beti ko bhya dia aur wo bhi khali hath.. tere sasuraal wale kya sochenge?

Ram: Ye.. ye gumana.. ye emotional atyachar.. priya.. iske koi classes hote hai kya?? Mujhe bhi jana hai..

Priya hit him lightly on his hand..

Priya: Kya ram aap bhi.. waise u know what.. bhale hume ye shaadi ka function nahi karna, we may well have to give in'

Ram:Ek kaam karte hai.. Bhaag ke shaadi kar lete hai..

Priya: Kya?? Ram aap theek toh hai..

Ram: Dekho.. Waise bhi humara parivaar chahta hai ki humari shaadi ho jaye.. Agar aisa hi chalta raha toh we might give in.. Par bhaag k shaadi kar lenge toh ek fun thilling experience bhi ho jayega aur humare parivaar koi functions bhi nahi kar payenge.. What say?

Priya just nodded her head..

That night.. At Kapoor Mansion..

Ram was sitting in his room playing with his laptop when KK came there..

KK: ram beta. Kya kar raha hai?

Ram: Kuch nahi maa. Kuh kaam tha?

KK: Beta ek baat bata.. Tu ne aur Priya ne registered marriage karne ka faisla kyu kia?

Ram: maa ye gardi.. log.. tamjham. Ye sab nahi chaiye..

KK: Ek baat batau beta? Tere dadaji ne na mujhse ek baat kahi thi jab me bhyake iss ghar me aayi thi.. janta hai kya?

Ram: Kya maa?

KK: Ye ki zindagi me na. logo ko kabhi bhoolna nahi chaiye.. Aksar jaha koi sath nahi deta, wohi log kaam aa jate hai jinhe aap ne apne khushi me shamil karte hai.. Khushi ke mauke pe aap logo ko yaad karo.. dukh ki ghadiyon me wo aap ko dhundte hue ayenge..

At Sharma house:

Priya was reading a book when sudheer went to her room.. He slowly ran his fingers through her hair..

Sudheer: Priya beta..

Priya: jee papa..

Sudheer: Beta tujhse ek baat kehni thhi

Priya: haan kahiye na papa..

Sud: wo beta.. wo..

Priya: papa shadi ke bare me kuch hai?

Sud: haan wo beta!!

Priya: Yehi na ki hum reg marriage kyu kar rahe hai. Papa apni khushi hai na.. apne tak rakhte hai.. Why share it with the world.. Dukh ke time pe ye kaam thode hi aate hai..

Sud: Nahi beta' galat.. Pata hai teri maa kya kehti thi.. ye ki.. Sukh aur khushi jitna baato na. utna zyada hota hai.. ek baar koshish kar k dekho. Kehn mera farz tha.. baaki tumhari aur Ram ki marzi..

Saying so.. He left the place..

Priya was thinkin over Sudheers words when her pone beeped.. She picked up the call..

Ram: Hi.. Wo batana chahta tha ke kal kab aur kaha milna hai..

He gave her an address and the time.. Priya acknowledged it.. And off they went to sleep!!
