Chapter 4

Both Ram and Priya had now agreed to meet each other.. Both did not want to marry and had to agree because of their families..

 Ram was online on his social networking site.. And so was Priya.. He got a message..

MsAtti: Hi there..

FattyK: Hi yaa.. How was your day?

Ms.Atti: Great.. Dad ne fir blackmail kar dia hai ladke se milne.. Mere dad bhi na.. uff..

FattyK: Meri family ne bhi.. uff..

Ms.Atti: Khabardaar agar tum ne shaadi ki.. I will kill u..

FattyK: Kill karne ke lie milna toh padega na.. You have never seen me remember..

Ms.Atti: toh kya hua? Taane maar maar ke maar daalungi..

FattyK: Arre nahi karunga yaar.. Pakka.. U know na how I hate the shaadi business.. Mujhe nhi karni hai shaadi.. Aur agar tu ne haan kia na.. Kabhi baat nhi karunga tujhse..

Ms.Atti: Aye.. Aise mat bol yaar.. Mai mana karungi pakka.. Vhal Got to go.. Dad calling..

FattyK: Bye yaa.. See yaa..

Ram then went to his bua..

Bua: Haan Ram.. Bolo..

Ram: Wohi.. phir se.. Kal ladki dekhne jana hai..

Bua: Ram.. think about it.. Sab force kar rahe hai isiliye haan mat kehna..

Ram: haan bua.. waise bhi naa fixed hai.. and winked at her.. Aur aap ho na.. Meri vakalat karne..

The next day, Priya was sitting at the Caf waiting for Ram.. She was a strict punctual.. And today, she was waiting for Ram since the past half an hour.. She hated people who came late.. Moreover she wanted to finish this off as soon as possible and rush back home.. She wanted to take her record up.. But where was Ram?

He came in after sometime.. An dwalked up to Priya's table..

Ram: Hi.. Ram.. Ram Kapoor..

Priya: Hi..

Both settled at the table..

Priya: Mujhe late lateef log nahi pasand.. I hate people who are not punctual..

Ram in his mind: So much attitude.. mujhe konsa shauk tha tumse milne ka?

Ram: Waise aap nose ring pehnti hai na.. Humare ghar pe wo allowed nhi hai..

And both said out loud.. Shaadi cancel.. and looked at each other.. and then burst out laughing..

Ram: Ok then.. All sorted.. Aap ko bhi shaadi nhi karni.. aur mujhe bhi nhi.. so hum nikle..

Both were about to get up when Priya noticed her father at a table..

Priya: Mr. Kapoor.. ek minute..

Ram: Ji.. Waise aap mujhe Ram keh sakti hai.. who zyada acchi lagti hai..

Priya: Ji??

Ram: Kuch nahi.. kahiye aap ne kyu bulaya?

Priya: Wo actually, mere papa baithe hai yahaan.. shayad unke friends ke sath..Toh hum thodi der baith sakte hai?

Ram turned around to look at table Priya was looking at..And he found his parents there..

Ram: Arre.. Yeh toh maa papa hai.. Priya kya hum thodi der yahaan baithe.. I guess these people are trying to spy on us..

Priya nodded in positive.. Meanwhile..

Sudheer: Arre Amarnath ji, meri pagli beti ne 73 ladke reject ki hai.

AK: Sudheer ji Ram bhi kuch kam nahi..

KK: Waise inn dono ka chal kya raha hai? Mujhe toh laga tha ki dono 5 min me uth jayenge.. Ye toh aadhe ghante se baithe hai yahaan..

Sudheer: Shayad hume dekh lia.. Par agar mana hi karna hai toh kya farak padta hai..

KK: Haan.. mai bhi yehi soch rahi hu.. Hume tension kyu de rhe hai dono?

They were discussing this when Ram and Priya walked to their table.. As soon as Sudheer saw Priya, He got up..

Sudheer: Arre Priya beta.. Mai gaadi nikalta hu..

Priya: Papa ek minute..

AK and KK got up too..

KK: Ram beta chale?

Ram: maa.. Humara faisla nhi sunenge?

KK: Faisla? Bol de kya hai.. Mujhe pata hai naa hi hone wala hai..

Priya: Nahi maa..

KK: Maa?

Priya: Maa.. Humne shaadi karne ka faisla kar lia hai..

KK: Kya?

She sudhir and AK were jumping with joy.. Their happiness had no bounds.. No limits.. KK came up and hugged Priya and sudheer hugged Ram..

Priya: Maa.. Mai aapko maa bulau?

KK: Kyu nhi beta.. Haq hai tumhara..

Ram and Priya smiled looking at one another..

Soon.. Ram was sitting at his desk preparing some designs for his project.. His eyes fell on a note pad.. He casually picked it up and started scribbling..

All of them soon gathered for breakfast..

Ram: Haan keh toh dia hai dadi..

KK: Toh aage ki vidhi ki tayyari nhi karni?

KK: Kya hai Ram??

Ram: Maa wo.. Hum ne.. Wo actually.. Maine aur Priya ne tai kia hai ki hume koi badi celebration nahi chaiye.. Wo hum registered marriage karenge..

All faces hung at that.. They had aspirations.. they had dreams for his wedding and he had decided a registered wedding.. Same was the situation at Priya's place..

Sudheer: Priya.. ye tera aakhri faisla hai?

Priya: Haan papa.. Kitni baar bolu?

Sudheer: theek hai.. Mujhe maan na hi padega.. Par teri bua ko kon samjhayega?

Priya: Papaaa…. Aap ne bua ko? Kyu papa.. Aap jante hai na wo kitni hyper hai..

Sudheer: Arre.. Pyar karti hai wo tujhse.. Jaan chidakti hai tujhpe.. Usse nhi batau toh kisse batau?

Priya just sighed and left for work..

At kapoor mansion too.. All were sad when..

Nih: Arre KK.. kk kidhar hai.. Bhar toh aa..

KK was sitting with dadi..

KK: lo aa gayi.. Pata hai maa.. Ye apni uss bekaar beti Ayesha se shaadi karvana chahti hai Ram ki.. Baap re..

And she went out..

KK: Arre niharika.. bolo..

Nih: Oye KK.. Maine suna hai tu ne Ram ka rishta tai kar dia hai.. Oye wo bhi aisi ladki se jisne 70+ ladke reject kie hai..

KK: haan kar di hai..

Nih: Oye aise nakchadi ladki ki kya zarurat.. Meri Ayesha hai na..

KK: Arre.. tum toh mili bhi nhi meri beti se.. Phir..

Nih: Arre toh milaao na.. Mai bhi toh dekhu.. Aisa kya khaas hai tumhari BETI me..

KK: Haan toh milvati hu.. Mana kisne kia hai?

Nih left in a hush..
