Mean_Girl thats how SP operate they don't allow any shows on the prime time slot to be on air with trp in mid or low 2.0 and that's where IPK has been for a couple of weeks now. So they come on with these gimmicks to save there butt from the backlash of the fans

Well it's not so much they will blame the actors, but when you have these stuff put out there it softens the blow and prepares the way.

He'll deny and plenty will believe him, but by the time the news of cancellation come some of the hooplah and brouhaha would have already been exhausted.
