Hey, am not being critical here... but just want to give my 2 cents on this topic...

How do u know the redemption has already started.. or is it over already??... And what is redemption according to you??

A man who loves a girl had mistakenly misunderstood her... on knowing the truth, he is trying to do all the right things for her... this girl is a righteous woman herself.. she understood this man's actions when he took such a huge step for his sister... she forgave him and still getting in terms with his love-filled gestures... I don't think the CVs intend to project the lovers as a guilty or a victim..  they are two people who are in love.. were caught in the wrong situations... now they are trying to get out of the mess that was created due to a misunderstanding... where is the question of one being greater than the other... Its a LOVE story... and they are equals.. situations were wrong... none of them intended to do what they did..

arnav always intended to do what he did from lucknow fashion show

redemption= regret=realization that he is wrong.

So in that case my friend, Khushi needs to undergo a redemption too... she took a decision for Anji's life on her own, without consulting any of the RM members... she hid the truth for so many months... when she did what she did, people called it her righteousness... that she intended good for the families... she has still not said sorry to anyone in the family about hiding the truth... has she??...

R u following IPK , if u had u would have seen her feeling sorry and also asking sorry to Poojali for being the reason for Shyam's outster  Angry Though she hid the truth only taking into consideration that Arnav and Anjali will breakdown if the know the true facet of Shyam. I agree with u Khushi is the culprit and she is responsible for everything and she should be hanged to deathAngry Happy now ASR is God and he is always right even when he calls a poor girl a home wrecker. Khushi come on redeem urself Angry

Are you looking for  a love story... or a tit for tat kind of a relationship between ASR and Khushi... there is no point on arguing with people who have not understood the characters in IPK... Khushi has forgiven ASR and she loves him the way he is.,.. and the same is with ASR... then why are u guys hell bent on making him kneel down for what he did to her... he can not change what he did.. but he is definitely making things better... I didn't mean to offend any of u...
and btw there is a thing called reformation - and that is what is happening with ASR... on the path of what u all term as redemption... and reformation is a wiser step rather than just crying over a spilt milk and feeling sorry about things... probably, one needs a different perspective...

Did i ask for tit for tat i wished whether ASr would ask a sorry to khushi but it is you who told us that if ASR needs redemption then Khushi needs to , this is tit for tat LOL

Kindly follow all my posts in this thread... I was the one who said that they both did their share of mistakes... both are trying to mend the things in their own way... and by the way has the show ended that u r saying he has not yet uttered sorry to her??... we are still left with 7 days of contract.. don't pass judgments without complete facts...

but anyways I do not wish to argue with anyone... and yeah I still maintain that asking fro redemption from ASR is like turning a blind eye towards Khushi's mistakes completely... anyways, if u can't enjoy the ride... it's ur loss... not mine!! Thank you very much!!

I didn't find Khushi doing any mistake.  She gave Shyam a chance to redeem so did Arnav
i guess the only mistake khushi ever did or will do is think abt others first and believe that everyone is good at heart like she is

What about the white lies she says... they are not meant to harm anyone but ultimately cause pain to others... and who is she to give chance to Shyam to redeem?? Shyam is Anji's husband, she should have taken that decision for him and not her... and putting others before oneself, as u rightly said is Khushi's trait... but then even ASR didn't do thinsg for his own self... he also did it to save his sister...
similarly whi is arnav to give a chance to shyam, he is anjali's husband rite! if arnav worked in the capacity of a brother then khushi also thought anjali as her sister and she could never harm her knowingly. and khushi always lied to protect someone. give me one lie of hers which was for herself and not for others

You dont have to be a fan to appreciate someone..And by ASR I meant Arnav too. So if you are satisfied with ASR and not complaining about him today then I am sure you are not part of that ''group'' LOL

Today i am very much satisfied with him infact loved him the way he stood with khushi Clap but ASR is like a horror film to me he may burst at Khushi at any timeLOL, but Arnav is not like that he is soft Big smile love him more than ASR...

A very thought provoking post Rima!
There was something missing...but I guess happiness dominated my mind and I didn't clearly notice what was missing...
Arnav ACCEPTED his mistake..BUT...he hasn't yet APOLOGIZED for all that he has done...I guess that leaves a void...
Khushi has always been the prey here...always...and Arnav the predator...
Accepting your mistakes and apologizing to someone takes courage...BUT...Forgiving and Forgetting takes GREATER COURAGE and a strong heart filled with love...something that Khushi has...
Unfortunately, that quality and that courage that she possesses has not been highlighted or given the much needed significance by the CVs...
Arnav is the hero...agreed...but Khushi is the REAL HERO here...because forgiving with a smile after endless torture is not easy...not at all easy...
So...I SALUTE Khushi today...

Thanks Rima...for this really good post...it's an eye opener for many..
I watched the episode a little late..hence the late comments..
I have commented on your previous post 'At Last ASR'...

Yes ofcourse, he is very unpredictable..But for the time being we can be satisfied and stop thinking how mean he can be with Khushi in the future..

Yes quite true about Khushi but at the end of the day Gul is obsessed with ASR hence no major emphasis is given to Khushi

What you've said is true. Absolutely true. The only element missing here is the proper redemption...but since the CVs are hell bent upon showing 'different' things, then I think even if they just show Arnav respectfully marrying her and treating her, things would turn around and this empty gap will be filled.
Its just the way he has behaved in the past that's hindering our current pleasure of watching Arnav standing by Khushi. I LOVED today's episode though.

I was thinking, wasn't ONE ASR enough, that we had to watch one more female and sadder form of ASR in the same screen space? I want this weird woman OUT. I don't care about the past right now.
 I FREAKING DO NOT CARE.

 I WANT ARSHI.

I swear, I am gonna SPAM 4 lion's wall if they'll do something stupid with this dadi drama. Get Arshi re-married and send them on their honeymoon. Get Dadi back to her stupid Aashram and then after the honeymoon, Shyam can be back for all I care. I WANT husband-wife's.."MEANINGFUL" moments. I don't care much about consummation (I do, but not much)..what I care about is that -sharing and caring' which is missing.

I guess, we'll get it...since the track's progressing in that way...but I do not want the ugly past to come up right now. They can save it for the later.  ABHI, its ALL about ARSHI.

And, here's why ...

ASR can't be Devdas.- well, yes...he can be...but with a dash of unique helplessness and desperation and that anger and passion that even Devdas lacked, and hence..people say that he can't be devdas.

ASR is unique- indeed! Who'd know that better than us?

But tell me when he gave her gifts wasn't he being majnu?- He was being a thoughtful lover. Not a cheesy majnu. If he would have been that, then I sure he would have had a goofy grin plastered over his face, but he was just enjoying Khushi's pleasure...silently. He...was just being there..for her..in her happiness and was basking in her glow. Majnus don't do that, and hence, people don't like to call him one!

When he ran after the ambulance wasn't he bing devdas?- Desperate? yes. Devdas? No. Why? Because devdas just sat around and used to drink himself to oblivion and just used to think about his love...and never really DID something and eventually became a waste. But ASR does quite a lot. like freaking and fretting over her..and actually pestering her. While Devdas never did that!

When he beat up his employee wasn't he the posessive lover and husband?- Husband? Yes. But possessive? No. He was just being a perfect gentleman and husband. He just couldn't stand that someone, other than him (twisted logic he has, I know..when HE had himself called her characterless..but then!) had the guts to talk about HIS Khushi like that!

When he faught with Dadi for her wasn't he the good husband?- ABSOLUTELY. But he got an external force to behave that way.

So I refuse to buy this argument that sayong sorry or feeling regret will change ASR's 'character'. -Totally man! Even I refuse to buy this argument. But I differ on only on one point, he needn't say sorry or regret his actions or risk possible change in his character, what he needs to do is, RESPECTFULLY, make Khushi..HIS wife. AND to maintain that position for life. IF he does that, whether the ASRish way or in an Arnav way, I don't think there will be any problem about the possible risk of character change!

They say there is no disgrace in being great or humble
Yep.
But Arnav knows that humility always doesn't go down well with his wife. She is FIRE. And even she needs some pushing and pulling to make her see sense. And hence, the humbleness is all gone. But yes, he NEEDS to be sweet to her..

At least now.

And from now on...he MUST be..or else it can cost him his life..his love.

Hehe...yeah...I guess...
Well, I love ASR too...
But love for the character shouldn't blind them to all the wrong ASR has done to Khushi...
