If she is so concerned you are right she was an adult. She apparently was so strict that even Manorama is scared of her. Where was that with her sons. One who is Arnav's dad we do not even know what he did except that he hates being compared to him for some reason and the other is Arnav's Chacha who took their house and threw them out and for years when Arnav asked help from Dadi she was not even there.
