CHAPTER 7
"Samajhta kya hai apne aap ko chep kahinka ... sabko dara diya ... mujhe kehta ... manvi mein nahi kar sakta aur phir .. chod manvi tu bhi kis chep ke bare mein soch rahi hai ... chal so ja ..." She turned the light off and adjusted herself in the bed ... she was about to sleep when she noticed someone is there at her balcony ... she could see the someones shadow behind the curtains ...
"Kaun hai waha ... maine poocha kaun hai ..." She got up from her bed to see who is there when her eyes popped up seeing the person infront of her".
Manvi: Tum ... yaha ... yoon ... Virrat ...
Virat just stood there folded his hand and gave her the million dollar smile ...
Manvi didn't say anything and just ran towards him and crashed herself in his chest ... her head resting in his chest and arms around his neck ... Virat was shocked for a while but in a second or two he wrapped his hands around her waist and held her so tight ... They were lost in each others embrace and they could hear each others hearbeat ... virat could feel her breath in his neck ... he closed his eyes tight shut and held her tighter ... and he buried his face in her neck and hair ... he could feel her sweet smell and was lost in it ... even she could feel his warm breath on her neck ... Virat could feel manvi go stiff and he realised on how tight he had held her ... he loosened his arms ... and they let go of each other ... both looking the other way ... when Virat spoke :
Virat: Woh main ... tumse ... he was feeling really awkward to say anything ...
Manvi: Main dar gayi thi ... mujhe laga woh phir se ... said with a straight face and serious tone of voice ...
Virat: (as soon as he heard her say that ... he turned to look at her face ... who looked so terrified and tears rolling down her eyes ... he cupped her face quickly wiping away the tears with his thumb ) I am sorry ... really sorry ... mujhe ... i am soory manvi ... main yeh socha bhi nahi ... ki tum aise dar jaogi ... i am sorry maine ... socha hi nahi ... mein tumhe woh sab fir yaad ... dillaunga ... i am so sorry manvi ...
Manvi: Jaante ho tumne aaj tak kabhi bhi itne sorry nahi bole hoge jitney tumne abhi bola ... ek line mein ... (Virat and manvi both smiled at that) He let go of her ... and looked the other way ... when he got a slap on his left shoulder ... then on his right hand ... he was shocked ... "arrey yeh tum" and the another one on his hand ... then his chest "Pagal ho gayi ho kya .. dora par raha tumhe .. manvi stop" held both her hand ...
Virat: Kyun maar rahi ho tum mujhe ...
Manvi: Meri marzee ... and she looked the other way as she didn't want to face him ...
Virat: Meri marzee ... arrey yeh kya baat huwi ... bari ajeeb ho tum yaar ...
Manvi: chodo mera haath ... aur ajeeb mein hoon ... haan ??... (she started hitting him on his chest ... everytime she hit him .. he would take a step back) ... to tum samajhte kya ho chep ... he was about to say sumthin ... mein baat kar rahi hoon naa ... khabar dar agar apna mooh khola to ... aur haan tum samajhte kya ho apne aap ko ... tum yaha mere kamre mein is waqt kya kar rahe ho ... mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni ... main tumse bahut naraaz hoon ... ab tum jao yahaan se ... agar mera anger level bad gaya ... to tum nahi bacho ge aaj ... tum kuch keh kyun nahi rahe ... tum naa bas chodo aur jao yaha se ...
Virat: Kya mujhe kuch bolne ki ijazat hai abhi ...
Manvi pouted ... "Bolo bhi" ...
Virat: ok kya main jaan saktaa hoon tum mujhse naraaz kyun ho ... waise maine apna vaada nibhaya ... main case jeet gaya ... aur tumne kaha ta ... ki tum mujhse tab baat nahi karogi jab main woh case haar jau toh ...
Manvi: acha to tumhe sirf yeh yaad hai ... pichle paanch dino mein sirf yeh yaad hai ... waise yaad hoga bhi kyun ... aakhir ahsaan faraamosh jo ho tum ...
Virat: Manvi tum kehna kya chahti ho meri kuch samajh mein nahi aa raha ...
Here manvi herself was very confused on why was she mad at him for ... why didn't she wanted to talk to him ... what exactly did she wanted to tell him ... she was just confused ...
Manvi: tum jao yahan se ...
Virat: nahi jab tak tum saaf saaf nahi batadeti ki baat kya hai ... kyun gussaa ho itna ... mein nahi jaunga ... (manvi had turned her face around from virat he was facing her back ... he was lost in his thoughts on what has he done in these five days that manvi is so mad at him when something clicked his mind)
Virat: Acha ... mein samjha tum kis baat se naaraaz ho ...
Manvi: turned around to face him ... "kis baat se ... tumhe kaise pata chala ..."
Virat: Waise to main bhi tumse naraaz hoon is baat se ... he said and folded his hands ...
Manvi: Virat tum kis baat se naraaz ho ... waise bhi chodo ... mujhe kya ...
Virat: looked at her and he just couldn't take his eyes off her ... he was just looking at her antics ... he found it so cute and adorable ... "Tum mujhe miss kar rahi thi ... na..."
This words of his just affected her heart ... the smile disappeared and she looked at him with a straight face ... she wasn't sure about what she was feeling at that time ... is she disappointed that he knew she missed him ... or is she shocked thinking that he missed her too is that why he is upset from her ...
Manvi: Nahi miss karegi meri jhooti ... mujhe to iss baat pe gussa aa raha hai ... ki .. and she stopped ...
Virat: ki mein tumse mila kyun nahi ... tumhe call kyun nahi kiya ya phir text ... hain naaa ...
Manvi: was all lost ... "Haan" said manvi unknowingly ... in a soft voice and soon realised " nahin ... mera matlab nahi ... mujhe isse koi farak nahi parta"
Virat came near her ... "kya sach mein ... koi farak nahi parta tumhe ..." he said in a sweet and soft voice ... he was now walkin towards her ...
She was lost in his eyes ... staring at each others eyes she said "nahin" in a soft voice and taking steps backward ... her heart beating faster than usual ... every step he take towards her she would take a step backward ... until she hit the wall behind her ... she tried to move but he blocks her way ... she moves to go through left he places his hand on that side and den she tries to go other way and block the way with his other hand as well ...
Manvi: Virat mujhe jaane do ...
Virat: Kya tumhe koi farak nahi parta ...
Manvi: looking down not meeting his gaze ... "Nahin parta"
Virat: meri ankhon mein ankhien daal ke kaho ... koi farak nahi parta ...
Manvi: she looks up at him ... and she couldn't stand his gaze on him ... she closed her eyes tight shut ...
Virat: manvi meri taraf dekho aur kaho ... tumhe koi farak nahi parta ... (she still remains silent) virat leans closer to her ... now she can feel his breath on her face ... she was having gosebumps all over body ... they are now just inches apart ... "Manvi meri taraf dekho"
Manvi: Mujhse nahin hoga ... virat please jao ... Please virat ...
Virat: Please Manvi ... ek baar meri taraf dekho ...
Manvi tries to open her eyes but she is not able to she just turns herself around facing the wall now .. she culdnot take his gaze on her anymore ...she was breathing heavily by now ... Virat now placed his right hand on her waist and leaned on her and that sent chilles all through her body ... he came near her ear and wisphered "I missed you" as he nuzzled his nose on her hair and his eyes tight shut ... Manvi was not able to take it anymore ... she broke herself apart from him and ran to the washroom and locked herself in there ... by that time virat was shocked as she had jerked him and released herself from him... he didn't say anything further as he was shocked himself about his behaviour and walked out the room to go to bed ... Manvi was smiling widely ... Both couldnot sleep the whole night as the thoughts came running to them ... Virat knew she might not be sleeping and he thought of texting her but he stopped himself ... both didn't realize when they dozed off ...
Next Morning ..
Jeevika walks in Manvis room and tries to wake her up as its quarter to 8 and she would be late for breakfast ...
Jeevika: Mannu uth bhi kaafi late ho gaya hai ... Mannu uth jaa
Manvi: wakes up and sits in her bed ... " di aap ... subah ho gayi ... aur raat ..."
Jeevika : Manvi itni subah subah kya bole jaa rahi hai tu .. tabyat to theek hai naa tumhari ...
Manvi: di kamre mei aap akeli ho naa ...
Jeevika: confused she looked all around the room as manvis words kida freaked her out despite the fact that she knew its onlie them ... she still looked if manvi is seeing someone invisible ... "Mannu tu theek to hai naa ... yaha sirf aur sirf main aur tu hai ... koi sapna dekha tune .. haan tune zaroor koi sapna dekha hoga ..."
Manvi: Haan di shayad sapna hoga...
Jeevika: picks up a pillow and hit her with that ... Mannu kaise behki behki baatein kar rahi hai tu ... chal jaldo tayyar ho ...
Manvi leaves to get ready she come out wearing a nice red coulor anarkali ... which is unusual for her ... she applied light make up on her ... with a lil kajal and mascara and light pinkish lip gloss ... for some reason she wanted to dress up today ... she kept looking at herself before going down ... "Main theek to lag rahi hoon naa"
Manvi soon reaches the breakfast table and finds everything seated there ... and suddenly she notices everyones gaze on her ... including virat ... as soon as she met his eyes ... her heart beated fast ... he tried to avoid his gaze again ... Virat smiled slightly ... and looked away ... she came near the table to sit just opposite of virat ...
Manvi: Aap sab mujhe aise ghoor ke kyun dekh rahe hai ...
K. Chachi: Haynee Manvi ... kitni soni lag rahi hai tu .. aaj ... kissi ne tujhe yun dekha to fida ho jayega ...
Manvi blushed away ... Viren could notice the smile on Virat's face ...
Dadaji: Manvi beta waqay mein aaj tum kaafi sundar lag rahi ho ... kya aaj kuch special hai ...
Manvi: Thank you Dadaji ... lekin koi special nahi hai ... turning towards her di ... "di kya yeah zyada lag raha hai ..."
Dadaji: Nahin beta zyada nahi lag rahha ... bas tumhari sadagi aaj kuch zayada hi dhikh rahi hai ...
Virat: Haan dadaji bilkul sahi keh rahe hai ...
Everyone turned around towards Virat ... whose eyes were fixed at manvi ... Manvi was feeling so shy that she just wanted to hide herself from his gaze ... when suddenly virens cough brought him to reality ... and everybody laughed ...
Virat: Dadaji ... iski sadagi bilkul bandhariya jaisi hai naa ... he said smirking ...
Everybody laughed ... manvi just was able to say Haawww!!! Cuz as soon as she looked at him ... she felt shy and she avoided his gaze again ...
They all had their breakfast ... Manvi helped Jeevika and V. Ma ... put the stuffs together ... All the men got busy with their office work ... Viren and dadaji had decided to open up an office for virat of his own ... and virat was busy reading another case and was trying to make strategy for it... Swamini Bua was busy talking to someone on the phone ...
Swamini: Haan yeh bilkul theek rahega ... Humein intezaar rahe ga ... hum ab phone rakhte hai ...
She walks towards Vanshika ... "Bhabhi hum ne socha hai ki kyun naa hum ... Virat ke liye is weekend party throw kare ... uske success ke liye ..."
Vanshika: Haan didi yeh to bahut achi baat hogi ... par bauji ... unse baat karni hogi ...
Swamini : Unki chinta mat keejiye aap ... ab humein sirf aur sirf ghar mein khushiyon ke aane ka intezaar hai ...
Now its evening ... Tea time everyone gathered outside in the lawn...
Swamini: Bauji hum ne kuch socha hai ... kyun naa hum is weekend ko ek party throw kare virat ke success ke liye ... jaha bhi dekho aajkal virat ki hi charchaa hai ... (virat smiled and rufled his hair ... chachu patted his back ... Manvi glared at him for a moment and when she noticed his gaze she looked away ... which made virat grin ...)
Dadaji: Haan beta yeh theek rahega ... is doran virat ko kuch bade logon se bhi milwa lenge ... aur woh kuch aur references bana lega ... theek hai beta tum tayaariyan shuru kardo aur party is weekend ko hi hogi ...
Swamini: Theek hai Bauji ... aur haan humare paas virat ke liye ek bahut acha surprise bhi hai ... jo hum usko woh party mein gift karenge ...
Virat: Surprise Bua ... kaisa surprise ...
Swamini: woh hum tumhe party mein hi denge ... humein tumhare chehre mein woh kushi jo dekhni hai ...
Virat : Ok ... we will see ... and then glared up at manvi again and they both had eye lock ...
Manvi walks up and leave from there ... everyone sat there talking about the party and the preparation they gonna do ... meanwhile they called Rishikesh up as well and invited them all for the party ...
Viren and Jeevika were now in their room ...
Viren: Jeevika tumhe kya lagta hai ... Badi ma ka surprise Virat ke liye kya hoga ...
Jeevika: Pata nahi viren ji ... aisa kya cheez ho sakta hai ... jiss se virat ke chehre mein khushi aa jaaye ...
Viren: Manvi ka usko cherna ...
Jeevika: Kya ... said smiling ... viren ji aap bhi naa ...
Viren: Nahi Jeevika socho tum ... Virat kitna badal gaya hai ... kitna responsible ho gaya hai ... kis ki wajah se ... sirf aur sirf manvi ki wajah se ... virat manvi ki har baat manta hai ... pata hai Jeevika virat case haar raha tha ... shayad dadaji ki naa aane ki wajah se ... lekin maine manvi ko phone ke karke yeh sab bataya ... aur jis samajh dhari se usne virat ko sambhala aur usse jo hosla diya mein bata bhi nahi sakta ... ki mein kitna khush hoon ...
Jeevika: Main jaanti hoon virenji ... mein bhi un dono ki nazdikiyo ko mehsoos kiya hai ... par shayad woh dono is baat se anjaan hai Viren ji ... Lekin Viren Ji Virat toh ...
Viren: Nahi Jeevika ... us se pehle ki kaafi der ho jaaye humein in dono ko ehsaas dilana hoga ... aur mein jaanta tha tum mera saath zaroor dogi ... dogi naa ... (he forwarded his hand towards her)
Jeevika: Virenji Virat mera devar hai aur manvi meri behen ... mein sirf aur sirf in dono ki khushiya chahti hoon ... phir mein aapka saath kyun nahi doongi ... she held his hand ... and dey both got into a hug ...
Virat was passing by Manvi's room when he found the door open ... he sneaked in but couldn't find her ... he looked for her everywhere when his gaze fell at the open door of terrace ... he walks in and finds her staring at the sky ... He walks towards her and just stood beside her ...
Virat: Kya soch rahi ho ...
Manvi: Virrat tum yaha ... is waqt ...
Virat: Haan main yaha is waqt ... waise main bhi pooch sakta hoon ... Manvi .. tum yaha is waqt (virat said mimicking her)
Manvi: tum sudharne walo mein se nahi ho naa ... CHEP ...
Virat: tumne mere sawaal ka jawab nahi diya ...
Mavi: Maine zaroori nahi samjha tumhe jawab dena ... kush ...
Virat: Tum to jaanti ho naamain kitna ziddi hoon ... jab tak jawaab nahi milta mein chodunga nahi tumhe ...
Manvi: oyee chep yeh kya sawal jawab laga rakha hai ... tum kya apne aap ko kiisi school ka teacher samjha hai ... ki tum jo poochoge mein uska jawab doongi tumhe ... waise bhi tumhare sawaal ka koi matlab nahi ...
Virat: Acha mera sawal ka koi matlab nahi ... to phir jawab dene se tumhe itna dar kyun lagta hai ... itni ghabraati kyun ho tum ...
Manvi glared at him and said " Main nahi ghabraati"
Virat: Jhoot ... tum abhi bhi ghabra rahi ho ... dar lagta hai tumhe mujhse ... hai na ... Manvi..
Manvi : Nahin ...
Virat: To phir meri taraf dekh ke kaho ... tumhe dar nahi lagta ... tumhe ghabrahat nahi hoti ... (he said by running his fingers down her hand)
Manvi was just staring at him ... she flinched ... and she was about to turn and run from there escape from the situation ... when Virat held her hand ... walked near her ...
Virat: "Waise tum aaj kaafi khoobsurat lag rahi ho ... is dress mein ..."
Manvi blushed when she heard these words from him ... and just ran away from there leaving Virat behind ... While she was running down ... she bumped into Vanshika ...
Vanshika: Arrey manvi kya baat hai ... tum yoon bhaag kyun rahi ho ... aur tumhara chehraa bilkul laal para huwa hai .. kya baat hai tumhari tabyat to theek hai naa ...
Manvi: Jee aunty .. woh bas kuch nahi ... mujhe garmi lag rahi thi ... to islliye ... mein jaati hoon ...
Vanshika noticed Virat coming from the same way manvi just came ... and she realised why manvi was behaving like that ... Virat came near her ...
Virat: Maa aap yaha ...
V.Ma: haan agar yahi sawal mein tumse karoo to ...
Virat: Maa woh main ... kuch nahi bas ... he said ruffling his hair ...
V.Ma: Manvi ko pareshaan kar rahe the ...
Virat: shocked ... "nahi ma woh to"
V.Ma: Manvi bahut achi bachi hai naa ... Baghwan kare usse duniya ki saari khushiyaan mile ... aur uske saath saath ek ache ghar ka ladka bhi ... kyun Virat ...
Virat: had a serious look on his face by now ... "Haan Ma main chalta hoon"
Vanshika smiled seeing her sons reaction ... Viren and Jeevika were also present and they noticed everything as well ...
Viren: Jeevika kya tumne bhi wohi dekha jo meine dekha ...
Jeevika: Haan viren Ji maine bhi wohi dekha ... "IDEA" dey both said together ... and high fived each other ...
