CHAPTER 6
After having a peaceful night of sleep Manvi wakes up as the sun shines in her room through the windows. With the sunlight falling on her face and making her look more angelic. She twists and turn in her bed as she didnot want to wake up, finally she gives up and looks at the time, its already 7:30 she quickly gets up and make her way towards the Breakfast table she notice everyone seated down ... She joins them.
Dadaji: Shuru Kijiye ...
Manvi surprised as Virat still have not reached the Breakfast table and Breakfast have already started. She knew the rules no one gets to eat anything after breakfast timing ... She realised her jiju not being there either ...
Manvi: Di aaj Jiju breakfast ke liye nahi aaye ... (thinking that she might be able to ask about Virat as well without upsetting anyone)
Jeevika: Nahi mannu woh aaj unka koi bahut important meeting tha to is liye aaj woh aur virat office jaldi chalegaye ...
Manvi: Di virat bhi ... with shocked expression and in a louder tone ... ( everything surprised at her sudden reaction and turned towards her)
She ignored everyone's gaze and kept herself busy with breakfast ... Soon they were all done and headed towards their respective room's ...
It is now 12: 00 pm an hour left for lunch time ... Manvi is in Jeevikas room helping her with the sweater that she is making for the coming baby...
Manvi: Di jab chutku aayega is sweater ko pehnega to kitna cute lagega naa ...

Jeevika was laughing at her sisters childishness ...
Jeevika: Mannu tu agar ussey aisa dara yegi to woh tujhe pyaar nahi karega ...
Mannu: Arrey di yeh mere aur mere chutko ke beech ki baat hai ... humara relation to alag hai ... Kyun mere chutku ... caressing jeevikas tummy ...
Jeevika: ha ha aaye bada acha relation banane ... lagta hai jab chutku aayega tab tum dono ko sambhalna bahut mushkil hoga ...
Manvi: Woh to hai heee ... (with that both laughed ...)
Manvi: waise di Jeeju lunch ke liye ghar to aa rahe hai naa ...
Jeevika: Nahi mannu woh nahi aa rahe ... waise tu itni pareshaan kyun ho rahi ho ... aaj itni care apne jiju ke liye ...

Manvi: realized about her blabbering and noticed the reaction of amusement in jevikas face ... "Haan to di ab blo"
Jeevika : Laughed " Mannu aisi koi baat nahi hai jo tera nanha sa dhimaag samajh raha hai" with that manvi sighed a relief ... "woh to mein isliye pareshan hoon uske liye kyunki ... Virenji ko to aise meetings ki aur der tak kaam karne ki aadat hai .. lekin virat ko nahi ... pata nahi itna saara stress lebhi payega yaa nahi ... kal raat ko bhi woh kafi der se ghar lauta ... aur phir subah bhi jaldi nikal gaya ... to isliye mein uske liye thoda chinta main hoon ... samjhi pagli"

Virat : Had a huge grin on his face ... "Bhai sach mein .. mein yeh case lar sakta hoon" Viren gave him a smile and nodded his head ... " Thankyou so much ... very much Bhai aap nahi jaante mein kitna kush hoon ... aur mera yakeen maaney ... mein aapka sar nahi jhukaaunga ..."
Viren: Mujhe mere bhai pe pura yakeen hai ... bas tu dhat ke har cheez ka saamna karna ... kabhi ghabrana nahi ...
Virat: Aur waise bhi bhai ... main ghabraunga bhi kyun ... jab aap ho mere saath ... to mujhe kissi bhi cheez ka dar nahi ... with that both got into brotherly hug ...

Viren got a call and left the room ... Virat thought of calling manvi ...
Manvi was sitting in her room and lost in her thought when her phone rang ... As she saw the caller id and virats name flashing she had a huge grin on her face and then she was mad again ... "ab jaake time mila hai janaab ko .. main nahi baat karungi" and turned her face to the side from the phone ... but she was stealing a look at her fone from the corner of her eyes and when she saw virat name again she quickly picked up this time ...
Manvi : Kya hai ... kyun phone kiya ...
Virat: Arrey na hi na hello ... yeh kya baat huyi
Manvi: Kuch kaam hai to jaldi bolo ... mere paas faltu ka time nahi ...
Virat: Jaise ki mere paas kaafi time hai ...
Manvi: Haan tum to ab kaafi bare wakeel ban gaye ho naa ... to time kaha se hoga tumhare paas ..
Virat: Bana nahi hoon par bahut jald ban jayunga ... "there was a silence and then with soft voice" waise tum theek ho ...
Manvi: (as soon as she heard that her heart beat got faster) haan main theek hoon mujhe kya hoga (she placed her other hand quickly to her chest)
Virat: Nahi main to bas yuhi pooch raha tha .. kyunki tumhaara screw jo dheela lag raha tha ... virat laughed ...

Virat: Main Kya Manvi ...
Manvi: Virat tum ... forget it (with that she hung up the phone)
Virat laughed " yeh bandhariya ki bandhariya hi rahegi ... lets get back to work"
Manvi thought " Samajhta kya hai apne aap ... aane do bachu ko main nahi chodungi"
The day past for both Virat and Manvi ... both busy with their own work ... Its yet dinner time again and Virat is still not home yet he is busy with work, since he had to meet mr jaiswal to finalize everything before the hearing of the case ... After hearing that virat will be late even today Manvis disappointment didn't go unnotice by V.ma and Viren ... Again he came home late ... and manvi was already asleep ... she tried her best to stay awake but she just couldn't she had dozed off before his arrival ... Another 3 days passed like that ... they never spoke to each other ... Virat tried calling her but somehow destiny didn't let them talk to each other ... or sometimes Manvis anger ... But Virat always wished her goodnite by sneaking in to her room every night, but to his disappointment he would always find her sleeping.
Finally its the day of the hearing and Manvi didn't want to miss the chance to wish him GOODLUCK ... she woke up way early ... earlier than anyone in the house ... She got ready prepared breakfast for everyone ... and was already in the living waiting for everyone to come ... Slowly everyone started to join the living room since all knew that today is the day when Virat is going to fight the case himself ... his very first case after practicing law again ... Manvi finally saw Virat after 5 days ... she could feel the joy in her but she didn't let anyone notice it ... Manvi was ignoring Virats gaze but his gaze was fixed at manvi only ... They all had breakfast together this time ... Manvi got more angry " Mujhe pata hota yeh chep aaj breakfast pe hoga to mein apni neend kharab nahi karti ... while thinking this manvi was making weird faces as she was talking to herself ... no one could hear a word but by looking at her face everyone could tell how irritated she is ...
V.Ma: Manvi beta tum theek to ho na ...
Manvi: coming out of her thoughts ... " haan haan aunty mujhe kya huwa kya hoga mujhe mein theek hoon" everyone laughed at manvis behaviour ... manvi could see everyones reaction but still she didn't even look once at virats face ... Virats eyes were stuck at manvis face ... he wondered what was wrong with her and why was she ignoring him ... All were done with their Breakfast and the men were all ready to leave for the court including Dadaji ... Virat was so happy seeing DadaJi ready to go with him ...
Virat: He came close to him and said " Dadaji main aaj bahut kush hoon aap bhi mere saath chal rahe hai ... Thankyou Dadaji"
Dadaji: "Nahi Virat tum ghalat samajh rahe ho ... Mujhe High court jaana hai ... tumhare saath nahi aa raha hoon ... aur waise bhi waha jaake mujhe sharminda nahin hona" with that he left the house ...
Virat was so disappointed hearing that from Dadaji ... everybody assured him once he wins this case he will surely win dadajis heart as well ... They all gave him blessings and wished him luck ... Manvi just smiled at Virat and just by seeing the smile on Manvis face Virat got so happy ... They left to go to court and reaching the court one of the famous lawyers headed towards them shook hand with Viren and Virat ...
Lawyer: Yeh kya Viren Mr. Vadhera nahin aaye tumhare saath ... kya unko apne pote ke kaabiliyat par yakeen nahi hain ... kya ...
Viren: Nahin aisi koi baat nahin hai ... unko kuch kaam aagaya tha ...
Virat looked upset as everyone noticed that his dadaji had doubts on his grandchild's capability ...
The court session started virat stated his point infront of judge and the opposition stated his ... Virat was still somewhere thinking about his dadajis words ... he was not able to concentrate in the case and his fight for success ... he was almost loosing all his points ... Viren and Inder chachu looked very worried and Virat was dying of nervousness ... and he had almost lost the case ... The Judge stated that he will give his decision after a short while ...
Virat stepped out of the court room ... Viren knew what could give him the courage again . Virat was lost in his thoughts when his phone started ringing ... He saw Manvis name flashing he picked it up ...
Virat: Partner ...
Manvi: Kya hua Partner ...
Virat: Mein haar gaya ... Main kuch karne ke laayak nahi hoon ...
Manvi: Kisne kaha tumse ki tum kuch karne ke laayak nahin ho ... Tum na bas thode pagal ho ...
Virat: Nahin manvi ... sab kuch khatam ho gaya hai ... Main haara huwa hoon aur humesha rahunga ...
Manvi: Tum such mein badalne wallon mein se nahi ho naa ... humesha ya to apni point prove karne mein lage huwe hote ho ya doosro ki ... pata nahi mein kyun ... humesha tumhe lecture deti rehti hoon ... mera kuch bolna banta hi nahi hai ... jab tum apni manmaani karoge ... agar dadaji ne kaha ... ki tum hare huwe insaan ho to iska matlab yeh nahi ... ki tum wahi bano jo woh chahte hai ... tum apna bhi to kuch karo ... unko ghalat saabit karo ... lekin nahi ... u know what karo jo karna hai tumhe ... Mujhse baat mat karna kabhi agar tumhe apni soch nahi badalni to ...
Virat: Lekin manvi meri baat suno ...
Manvi had hung up the fone till then ... Virat made up his mind ... there was onlie 15 mins left for the hearing start again ... he started discussing the case with Viren and Mr Jaiswal ... they still weren't able to find the solution ... Virat left from there in solace ... Hearing had Started and Virat was still not present ... Judge had almost present his decision ... when Virat walked in ... and stopped the Judge from Announcing his decision ...
Virat : Ek min My lord ... Main aap sab se maafi chahta hoon ... mujhe aane mein thodi der hogayee ... woh kya hai ki ... Mein aap sab ke saamne ek akhiri point pesh karna chahta hoon ...
The judge gave him the permission ... Virat presented his point with evidence with much confidence ... Viren was proud at Virat seeing his confidence ... He did not know what decision would judge make after hearing his points but he still was proud of his bro because he did not give up .. He fought till the end to prove his point ... Judge took a while to state his decision now ...
Judge: Dono paksho ki baton par Ghor karte huwe adalat is nateeje mein pahunchi ki yeh case Mr. Virat Vadhera ke Paksh mein hai aur Adalat Mr. Jaiswal ko bahiza badi karti hai ... aur chandighar police ko idhayat deti hai ... ki woh jald se jald investigation shuru kare...
Viren was shocked hearing Judges decision ... as well as Virat he had his head down on the table and tears of joy flowing from his eyes after hearing about his victory ... Viren also had tears of joy ... he ran to his brother and patted him hard in his back and hugged him tight ...
Virat: Bhai mein jeet gaya ...
Viren : (cupped his face) haan virat mere bhai tu jeet gaya ... chachu humara virat yeh case jeet gaya hai ...
Inder C: Arrey tum dono aise emotional hoge to aggey kya hoga Virat ki har jeet mein tum dono aise hi ladkiyon ki tarah emotional honge haan ... and he hugged Virat too ...
They left to go down ... Press was already present there and they started interviewing Virat ... as Mr. Jaiswal was not a small guy he was a famous business man ... Virats name was flashing in all news channel ... He was congratulated by many ...
Scene Shift
All the family member sitting in the living room waiting for Virat to come home ... They all didn't know what kind of news will they get . V. Ma got up and walked towards Mandir and sat there with Jeevika ...
Swamini Bua: Kafi der hogayi in logo ko ... ab taka aye nahi ... pata nahi kya huwa hoga waha ...
Dadaji: Kya huwa hoga Swamini Beta ... hum jaante hai ... ki aaj ka faisla kya hoga ... 5 din mein koi kaabil waqil nahi ban jaata ... Aur Viren ka yeh faisla bilkul sahi nahi tha ... aaj humara naam meethi mein mil jayega ...
Swamini Bua: Lekin bauji ...
Dadaji: Lekin kuch nahi ...
They all looked really disappointed ... V. Ma had tears in her eyes ... Even Manvi was tensed she knew Virat could do it ... but after talking to him ... after hearing what he said ... she had lost her hope too ... but somewhere she knew he will succeed ... when suddenly they hear screeching voice of cars ... They all knew they are here ... Manvi, Jeevika and V.Ma's heart beating so fast ... all three standing near the door ... to see the reaction on their faces ... When they entered ... All they noticed was grief ... there was not even a single smile on either of their faces ... Seeing their expression everybody turned towards Dadaji ... who looked even more pissed ... despite the fact he was saying all those harsh words about Virat.. but deep inside somewhere he had hope but now seeing their expression his hope has disappeared too ... V.Ma forwarded towards Virat ...
Dadaji: Ek minute bahu ... usse yeh poocho ... humara naam neeche gira ke kya mila usko ... kya zaroorat thi apni manmaani karne ki ... itne saalon se banaye gaye naam ko ek pal mein gira diya ...
Viren was about to say something when Virat held his hand tight and stopped him and told him not to say anything to anyone and left from there to go upstairs and meanwhile Dadaji received a call his expression were of shock ... everything thought except for Viren and Inder Chachu that someone prolly called to taunt him about his grand sons loss in the case ... He hung up the phone without saying anything and he Screamed Virats name so loud that everyone was scared ... Manvi quickly held Jeevikas hand ... Everyone were so scared that they didn't know what will happen the next second ... Virat stopped and turned towards Dadaji ... Dadaji walked towards him ... He took a hold of Virats hand so tight he took him to the room where they have their TV ... Tarun ... Tarun ... TV on karo ... (still holding onto Virats hand tight)
Swamini Bua: Bauji koi baat nahi pehlaa case tha to ...
Dadaji: Tarun jaldi karo ...
Everyone was dead scared when their expression from fear turned to shock. Everyone was shocked seeing the news about Virat ... Manvi as usual was confused on whats going on ... She was just being herself ... She walked towards the TV to have a closer look ... and started screaming
Manvi: Yeh to ... yeh to Virat hai ... iska matlab ...Virraat ... tum yeh case jeet gaye ho ... OMG ... virat yeh case jeet gaya ... she was screaming so loud that she didn't even realise that everyone was present in the room ... she went to everyone held them by theirs arms shaking them and telling them that Virat has won the case As soon as she reached DadaJi ... she stopped and she realized what she is actually doing ...
Everyone was so happy that they didn't notice how happy manvi was ... they didn't even question her on why was she so happy for her Di's Devar ...
DadaJi: Tumne humein yeh baat bataya kyun nahi ...
Virat: Kya faraq parta Dadaji ...
Dadaji: Kya faraq parta ... tumhe humari khushi nazar nahi aati ... tumne aaj sirf court mein hi us waqeel ko nahi haraya ... balki mujhe bhi haraya hai ... aur aaj pehli baar mujhe haarte huwe itni khushi ho rahi hai ... Tumne mujhe ghalat saabit kardiya aur yeh in sab se humein gharv ki tum humara khoon ho ... is ghar ke bte ho ... meine hi sirf yeh baat samajhne mein der kardi ... tumne meri aankhen khol di hai aaj Virat ... Mujhe ghalat saabit kardiya ... tum hare huwe insaan nahi ho .. mein tumhari kaabiliyat ko nahi samajh paaya .. Mujhe maaf kardena ...
Virat: Arrey Dadaji yehkya keh rahe ho aap ... Aap humare bade ho ... aapka haq banta hai humein daanta ... humein sahi raah dhikana ... aap yoon maafi maang kar humein sharminda mat kijiye ... Papa ke baad aap hi ne humein yoon bada kiya hai ... aur meine humesha aapka dil dhukaaya hai ... mujhe maaf kardijiye Dadaji ... Maine humesha aapko ghalat samjha ... Ab mein aapko kabhi shikayat ka mauka nahi doonga ... with that he hugged dadaji so tight and tears flowing from their eyes and also everyone present there.
Everyone was so happy, but Viren, Jeevika, and V. Ma were the only ones who exactly knew who is behind all this. Everyone left to go to their room ... Before leaving Manvi and Virat had a quick eye lock ... But soon manvi followed jeevika upstairs ... they were sitting there in Virrikas room when Virat and Viren entered ...
Jeevika: arrey Waqil sahaab aap humare kamre mein aane ka kasht kyun uttha rahe ho ...
Virat: Bhabhi aap bhi naa ...
Viren: nahi Virat waqay mein jis tarah se tumne aaj tumne case ko sambhala akhir moke mein tumne honsla nahi choda ... dekhna tumhe aagey berne se koi nahi rok sakta ...
Manvis eyes were fixed at Virats ... she couldnot take it off him ... Virat felt her gaze and stared at her and they both had a eye lock ... Viren noticed that and knew that they probably need some time together ...
Viren: Ek kaam karo virat tum kaafi thak gaye hoge jaake so jao ... theek hai ... aur waise bhi kal tumhari chutti ...
Virat: Arrey nahi bhai yeh kya keh rahe hai aap ...
Viren: arrey baba hum ghar se kaam karenge theek hai ...
Virat: Theek hai bhai .. gudnite ... gudnite bhabhi ...
He left to go to his room ...
Manvi: waise di aapko bhi aaram karna chahiye ... Jeeju bhi thak gaye honge ... unko thoda massage karo ... mera matlab unhe thoda aaram karne do ...
Jeevika : (was blushing ) Mannu tu bhi naa ...
Viren : acha saali sahiba aapki advice ka shukriya ... aap bhi jaake so jaye ... Gudnite ..
Manvi : Gudnite Di .. Gudnite Jeeju ...
With that she left from there room ... and was heading towards her room when she notice someone standing outside her room hands folded and left leg against the wall ... as soon as he saw manvi coming near her ... he stood straight ... he smiled towards her but she walked away ignoring him and walked inside her room ... without looking back ...
Virat: Ab isse kya huwa ... ajeeb nautanki hai ... yeh ... He knocked but got no response ... he tried to open the door but unfortunately it was locked ... he went to his room ...
Manvi was sittig in her bed and was talking to herself ...
"Samajhta kya hai apne aap ko chep kahinka ... sabko dara diya ... mujhe kehta ... manvi mein nahi kar sakta aur phir .. chod manvi tu bhi kis chep ke bare mein soch rahi hai ... chal so ja ..." She turned the light off and adjusted heself in the bed ... she was about to sleep when she noticed someone is there at her balcony ... she could see the someones shadow behind the curtains ...
"Kaun hai waha ... maine poocha kaun hai ..." She got up from her bed to see who is there when her eyes popped up seeing the person infront of her".
Manvi: Tum ... yaha ... yoon ... Virrat ...
Virat just stood there folded his hand and gave her the million dollar smile ...
Manvi didn't say anything and just ran towards him and crashed herself in his chest ... her head resting in his chest and arms around his neck ... Virat was shocked for a while but in a second or two he wrapped his hands around her waist and held her so tight ...
