Eeksss! Congrats Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa for winning that women's doubles match against all odds playing against world ranked #10!!! What a closely fought match! I thought it was adorable the way they were soaking in the applause from all the Indian supporters at Wembley! :D Really hope these two girls go on to beat Singapore now to make it to the quarter finals.

@Arwen: LOL yep it was a member of the performing cast of the Olympics who obviously is fascinated by India so just tagged along lol. Indian officials as usual over-react and demand an apology from everyone.

I watched some ladies weight lifting , it was quite horrendous lifting all those irons and some got injured !

a few chinese girls dropped it a couple of days ago. I wonder what effect the pressure of all that weight will have on their eyesight.

Blah blah corner has turned into Olympic corner.

Sweden has taken two silver medals. One by Sara Algotsson Ostholt in Equestrian and one by Hakan Dahlby in men's Double Trap Shooting. Congrats!
