You know I don't hate di or Di Ki Saut. I figure it's the story they wanted and let them get on with it. Trouble starts when they start listening to everyone and going away from their main plot (or when the main lead gets Bollywood call or when they have insane funny hat on). I don't hate di or even Shyam. If there was no Iago, there would be no Othello. They are part of the story, characters that make it a whole (however flawed they are). I would actually quite like di to get on with her drama, throw a fit or whatever (the fainting DOES get on the nerves).

What I do have a problem with is the main romance. The coy 'will she won't she'. Its just titillation by other means. GH once said that one of the tricks of getting a good telly romance is to keep the leads apart for as long as you can. Well, dude the time's up. Its been more than an year. They're married, in love, have more or less acknowledged it. And now let have romance. And I mean the type where normal couples would actually reciprocate.
