Not my fav theory for very obvious reasons but its getting better than sudden miraculous recovery. What is the significance of the lottery tickets Indira has bee collecting. Its like a premonition. Indira wins an amount and leaves it for her family. 
HD is a simple story wrapped in the most unusual garb. I do not expect something bordering on melodramatic cliche. I hope sometimes The writers copy from literature and not cloying movies. Literature has given us so many beautiful stories to remember. The Cvs can easily create tracks based on some of them very much like how Nolan made The DKR using The Tale of 2 cities as his inspiration.
