Though the barriers were broken in some past shows, but it was Ekta Kapoor's serial which raised the platform to a new and different level altogether. She showed the leads Ram (Ram Kapoor) and Priya (Sakshi Tanwar) of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain making love and kissing on television. Lot of media hype was created around it and the act was tagged as profane by some while others called it a new beginning.
