Was dismayed to listen to Komal's loudmouthed screeching in the hospital, I bet the entire staff could hear the conversation between her and the parents of Abhimanyu.  So, while their young strapping son fights for his life as the result of poison coursing through his bloodstream, SS and shakuntala get to listen to the world's longest speech on how Shakuntala is a bad human being who trapped her weak father.  I see, so basically a woman who happens to be beautiful, young and has never left her parents' village is somehow trying to trap the well-traveled and much older Sajjan Singh.  Because all men are stupid in the face of such beauty, right?  That's a convenient explanation for Komal to adopt, and she does it well.  But if the girl wasn't there, she doesn't know the whole story.  And if SS did choose to be with her, if he wasn't happy with Amma for whatever reason, then it is both their fault not just Shakuntala as Prats rightly pointed out.

Komal herself is someone's mother, her husband was killed not long ago, so she knows what it means to raise a child by herself but she forgets this easily when he goes to the hospital.  All of the Saxena's influence on her, the culinary skills, the better fashion sense, the good manners go out the window because Komal needs to teach Chukti Amma a lesson.  Did anyone notice that the girl had time to make a scene in the hospital, call Shakti and tell him the results of the conversation, but not enough time to call home and check on her daughter?   Because that would actually mean she was doing her duty as a mom.  Instead of letting Chinky run into the front yard and look for some random man to be her father.  Komal's daughter has grandparents, a mother, uncles, and aunts but no dad.  Yet somehow Komal Saxena now feels the right to judge someone who also has no dad and wants one.  What is the difference between Komal's daughter and Abhimanyu, aside from a couple years?  They both feel the absence of a parent and would do anything to get one.

Back to the hospital, I highly doubt any of the patients got any rest with Krishna taking over the fight after Komal.  The way she cut into Shakuntala was cold-blooded and mean.  She doesn't even live in the haveli any more but once a Thakur always a Thakur.  Shakuntala did not once speak up in her and her son's defense, nor did she ignore the only daughter of Sajjan Singh.  Komal has never suffered anything in her life, apart from losing her husband, she wouldn't understand someone else's pain.  As for calling Shakuntala low class, she would probably know firsthand.  She gave the Saxenas hell in their own house and they couldn't stand her when she first arrived in the maika.  It wasn't that long ago that she couldn't behave like a lady and Krishna had to tell her to try and learn something from her husband and his family.  She acts like a blue blood, but the difference is actual blue bloods can read and write.  And they don't start world-class scenes in hospitals where sick people are being treated for serious ailments.

Krishna gets there and of course, he is even louder than his sister.  I can understand why Baba would feel threatened.  He is the favorite son of SS and now his life is changed forever by his father.  It's humiliating for him to call brother someone who has made his life so unpleasant, someone who has moved into his house.  What about Pratigya, was it not hard for her to accept him as husband after he forced her to marry him?  If he for one second thinks that it's their dishonor to accept the simple-minded lawyer and his pious mother, how does he think the Saxena family felt about him and his family when the show first started?  Money can buy a lot of things, but it can't buy class.  and it can't buy the respect of people that count.  It is somehow ironic that Krishna has saved Prats from poison when she followed him, and now he is saving Abhimanyu's life too.  Both Prats and Abhimanyu had to fall victim to wild animals.  The bargain Krishna made with Abhimanyu's mother was clever on his part.  Of course, if he had let Abhimanyu die I don't think SS would have forgiven him.   And the cvs did it smartly by making Krishna have O positive type and not Pratigya who would have given it by the liter if it meant saving a life.  Makes it more dramatic.

The scene with Shakti and the coach was disgusting.  Shakti couldn't just let his brother beat the guy in wrestling and then make him leave, he had to interfere.  Abhimanyu could have filed a case against him for attempted murder, but Shakti can't appreciate that as he is so obsessed with being right.  But once Prats has told SS who is behind the accident, the expression on his face tells me Shakti will be the one who needs to run.

Before I forget to add, Abhimanyu looked incredibly hot just lying there in his bed.  Even though he had no lines, the man was gorgeous.  I envy the nurses who get to enter his room.  โ˜บ๏ธ

Kesar and Piasiya trying to clean up the haveli from the presence of the servants was pathetic.  If anything, the haveli needs cleaning up from all of their impure behavior.  Kesar, why dont you clean up the bedroom which we all know has seen a lot of women outside the family?  Who knows if Shakti has conceived any children out of wedlock, it's not like those women would go tell him.  She should also clean Shakti's mouth which gives gaalis on a daily basis to all who come to the haveli.  It was a mock exercise to retrieve some dignity after SS has given it all to his former mistress and her son.  Again, I noticed Samar is nowhere to be seen.

Again, I am not saying the Thakur children have no right to be angry with Abhimanyu, SS, and Shakuntala.  However, Abhimanyu just wanted his father's acceptance as Prats pointed out.  Everything he ever did since he came on the show has been towards this goal.  Had SS not hesitated, then maybe he wouldn't have gotten beaten, poisoned, and then rushed to the hospital.  And Krishna's threatening an unconscious man does not exactly reflect well on his character.  no matter what his excuse.

Komal's,  shrewish abusive, who could forget her early days in GH, burn't chilly, bet Sax's dadi didn't see that one coming๐Ÿ˜†

Good post, thank you๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Good post!
Aaj bahut ghussa hai Trina ๐Ÿ˜†
I was thinking the same ... If all of Allahsbad didn't know before they sure did after that scene. Here I thot, from the Thakur perspective, the fewer who knew the better.
Komal knew shakuntka is in no position to strike back . It was cruel to hit her. Not sure how Shakuntla's character will develop later she might make Komal regret that move. I'm ready with popcorn to enjoy that Edited by meanreds - 11 years ago

Amzing post once again Trina ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. Loved each and every line, every one's role in this fiasco is so well explained. love to read your post.
Enjoying coming back to the forum after a long time.

Komal has yet again shown the crudeness and  illiterate nature by yelling at her own father in public. Hitting Shaku was the height of silliness.

Looking forwards to seeing how ASY will react after regaining his senses. How the two half brothers K & ASY will react. Will K listen to Prats or will he keep on riding the high horse and continue with his blinding rage to get rid of ASY.  Will he keep on insulting his father only to regret later !!!!

Hmmm Komal beat Abhi's mom...never know what children learn from their parents over the years and when and where it shows up. Of all the things to learn...beating a woman older than her by decades?

But then this is karma and Komal is mirroring back to SS who he has been over the years, beating SDS and KN with jhoota when his pride was hurt or his control freak status was threatened in any way.

As much as people attempt to change (as Komal has over the years) their true nature always surfaces when their emotional buttons are pushed.

Somewhere in that behavior of Komal's with the yelling and beating is a brewing frustration, anger and other emotions she hasn't dealt with or didn't want to deal with in recent weeks.

K is very much like SS in many ways.  So his father had a son out of wedlock. SS was married to a girl younger than Komal. KN was married to Arusia while still married to Kesar, then married a "lady of the night", SDS set herself on fire and tried to destroy Kriya's marriage. K kidnapped an innocent girl to get his Dad back. K shot Prats...It's just another in a series of incidents in the Takur household where their "izzat" has been compromised in public yet again. They are not doing anything to keep things private either. How does a tantrum in public resolve such things?

This track goes to show that the golden boy K's dark side has raised his head. He wanted his condition met before he would save the life of his "blood brother". Not so pure hearted after all. ๐Ÿค”

KN ...the goody two-shoes side of KN didn't last very long. Like Komal his real nature resurfaced with the threat of change to the dynamics of the family.  If he has an issue with his step-mom(or was she SS's mistress?) he should remember who he was recently married to ...Men-ka rani.๐Ÿ˜›

Good post!!! I was astounded at how komal was yelling in a hospital...and beating a woman who is like the age of her mum with her chappal?!!!! And even refusing K to donate blood to ASY...
Yeah and shakti just spoilt the nice wrestling match that was going on with his cheap and cruel act!!!

Agree Mera... a person's true test and true personality emerges when they are confronted with tough decisions in life. Hats off for CVs for depicting such emotions so perfectly.

Silly daughter hitting an older woman , a helpless father reaping the rewards of his mistakes, a mother pleading for her son's life and a blood donner putting forth conditions before saving a life.๐Ÿ˜•

K ordering his father to come home with him annoyed me. Hailo K he's not 5 yrs old...he can make up his own mind. It's understandable that K doesn't wanna stick around but it's also understandable that SS has another son who he may not love as much as he does Baba but he's still his child and he wants to be there for ASY.

Good points Trina๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
like you, i think Kesar should have had her own bedroom steam cleaned after each and every prostiture KN used to bring home, and that was before he even married Menaka.  He practically went straight from her to Kesar's bed, didn't she feel dirty at that time๐Ÿคข
And now, she wants the house cleaned cos of ABhi and his mom, but who's gonna scrub SS clean, cos he was intimate with Shaku?๐Ÿ˜ˆ
Will she have SS jetwashed - he held hands with Shaku at the hospital๐Ÿ˜ฒ
