According to Lahore based sources, Aishwarya Rai's 'Bride & Prejudice' has (like in India )failed in Pakistan too !According to the film's Pakistani distributor Khaliq Chaudhary, the film which released last Friday in theaters across Pakistan, got a very ordinary responce. He added that the reason may have been that most have already seen the movie on cable.
However, according to CMA (Cinema Management Association) member Qaisar, the main reason for the film not doing well was the Aishwarya-Salman controversy due to which Salman fans and their friends boycotted the movie

As me living in Pakistan I think so this tht Piracy is the most powerful reason then the Salman Khan fanz ones becuz Ash has a HUGE fan following in Pakistan,This movie is avalibe on DVD And VHS eaisily in any shop and has been played on cable a 100 times so why would anyone go to watch it again?
