Chapter 3

Eventually, His eye lids closed, and his mind drifted off.

No matte how hard he tried, even in his dreams, could not erase the image.  The image of Khushi in heap of pains. Each as each tear, one by one, travelled down her cheek. Her eyes, blood-red.

He woke up followed by a gasp.

"Why am I dreaming about her?"

Arnav tightly shut his eyes, however she kept appearing. Just her, no one else. Arnav immediately opened his eyes.

" Great she haunts me in real life, now she haunts me in my dreams. How more annoying can she get?" Arnav started to get frustrated.

He wanted to know answers. Why did her tears frustrate him? Why could he not bear to see her cry? Why did she appear in his dreams? What did she do to him, what no one else does?

Arnav didn't dare go to sleep; after all, he knew she would emerge in his dreams.

Next day

Khushi and Lavanya Strolled down campus. Khushi had not completely recovered, unless she though of her man, she would light up.

She felt an gentle breeze suddenly hit.

"He's here somewhere" she said to herself

"I can feel it"

Here eyes scanned the campus, noticing every single person. She turned to her left. It was him. Walking. Khushi felt a breeze flow through her hair, as her heart was uncontrollable. It was reading to pound out of her chest any minute.  She couldn't seem to take her eyes off her beauty.

He wore a blue v-shirt, half sleeve that emphasised his toned biceps. He wore hot cream chinos, followed by plain black pumps.

She couldn't seem to take her eyes off him, even thought she didn't want to.

"stop looking Khushi," she kept ordering her mind to stop, but it was all useless. She had a burning desire to go and get embraced by his muscular arms.

Suddenly he turned in her direction. She froze, her heart officially stopped beating. She held her breath in, and didn't want to let go of it. She repeatedly kept gulping, a sign of her being nervous.

Unfortunately, he looked away and carried on walking. He didn't even bother to look back at her. Her heart was left, disappointed.

"He knows what im was going through but why didn't he stop and ask if i was ok? Maybe he was busy, that doesn't mean that he can't smile at me! Why was he ignoring me?" Thought out the day those questions kept pestering her mind, as she didn't see Arnav all day'

Later on at Khushi home''

Khushi needed answers, she couldn't wait any longer.

"Hi Arnav, how are you today? Saw you on campus today; don't know if you didn't see me. Were you going somewhere?"

Khushi"

"Lav can I ask you something?" Khushi politely asked, knowing Lavanya wouldn't refuse.

"of course, do you even have to ask?" she said as she nudged Khushi.

Khushi hesitated.

"For some reason I think Arnav is ignoring me" Khushi spoke quietly and gently.

Lavanya stayed silent.  After a few seconds, she spoke.

"Na, I don't think he would, especially after yesterday. What makes you think so stupidly like that?"

" Yeh I know you would think he wouldn't ignore me, especially after yesterday. But I saw him at campus today, and he saw me. It wasn't a illusion. We had nazar se nazar, he couldn't have possibly missed me. So yeh, then I got suspicious, then I text him an hour ago, and he still hasn't replied!"

Khushi felt disappointed, and hurt. Lavanya placed her hand on her shoulder.

" Look, Im sure its nothing like that, ok?"

Khushi wanted to say no. But if she did then Lavanya would have a argument trying to convince her. It would be absolutely pointless.

" Yeh, alright maybe he is busy" Khushi tried to make herself sound convincing.

" Hmm, yeh probably is"

Lavanya picked up her magazine and stuck her head into it, meanwhile Khushi dozed off for a nap.

RM masion''.

Arnav came back from Akash's house and threw himself onto of the bed.

He closed his eyes and let his mind doze off''

Arnav saw her again, the one who he loathed.

Her memories, her face, her eyes, her smile, her tears, everything to do with her.

"Ughhh why can't I get her out of my mind, I can't mix my mind and feelings together. Nothing will go right if I do! Shit man, I need to control myself!" Arnav screwed at himself even though he knows he can't help it.

Next day'''..

"Khushi, I need to go somewhere, can you drive me?" Lavanya pleaded.

She knew that Khushi wouldn't say no, so she took advantage.

" Oh god Lavanya, when are you going to pass your driving test. I cant always drive you around you know!" Khushi moaned.

" Yeh you can" Lavanya had a smirk on her face.

Khushi looked up, with her eye brows raised at Lavanya.

"Kidding"

"Fine, I drive you"

"You will be happy, where we are going."

"Why, were we going?" Khushi asked curiously.

"RM!" Lavanya replied ecstatically! Lavanya was jumping up and down.

Khushi gave a blank face.

"Raizada mansion, to YOUR Arnav!!!!!" Lavanya screamed.
