CHAPTER – 32

[ In a DHABA,in Mumbai-Pune border ]

A man with a foreigner were having their meal.The man called a boy and asked,"Oye chotu bas itna hi hai kya tere yahapar arey dekh bahaargaao se sahaab ko lekar aaya hu kuch naach-gaana hi dikha de?"The owner came and replied,"Arey shera bhai aap to hamaare puraane mehmaan ho aur aapke mehmaan yaani hamaare khaasamkhaas mehmaan.Arey aap logo ke liye to aisa intezaam kiya hai ke aap log kabhi nehi bhulenge."Saying he called one of his men and told him something in his ears.The owner then said to Shera,"Aaj ekdam teekhi aur mast item aayi hai bhai ke dekhte hi aap sabke hosh ur jaayenge."At that moment everyone,heard the sound of music.It was a group of gypsy artists who were performing at the dhaba.A very beautiful girl,with almost transparent costume,covered her face from the nose was leading the dancing group.She was not at all dancing but was trying to seduce the other customers and her main interest was on the foreigner who came with Shera.She went towards him and almost fall on him while dancing,thinking that she will get more money if she impresses him with her beauty.There was a man who was playing the instrument.Though he was playing the instrument,but his all attention was on the activities of the girl.As presumed,the foreigner rained money on the girl and that man with the instrument collected them.The foreigner whispered something in Shera's ears and he called the leader of the gypsy troop.Shera said to him,"Dekho hamaare is sahaab ko tumhaare kabiley ki ye larki bohot pasand aayi hai aur isey vo lekar jaana chahte hai apne saath aur iske badle mein tum logo ko muh maangi keemat milegi."The leader was bewildered to hear that.He immediately agreed and said,"Ha ha huzur lekar jaiye.Iski to kismat hi khul gayi."The foreigner,cared the girl's face softly with his finger and asked,"Whats your name sweetheart?"Shera translated in english.The girl replied,"Haseena."Shera replied,"Apne naam ki tarah hi haseen ho tum."Haseena said,"Ye to aap jaise kadardaano ki dua hai sahib jo mujh jaisi naachis par aapne nazar uthakar dekha."The instrument player made a fist.The foreigner gave the leader a large amout of money and told that the remaining will be sent with her.Saying,he held Haseena by her waist and took her to his car.

                                                                                                Shera sat in the front with the driver and the foreigner alongwith Haseena sat on the back.Shera asked the man,"Mr Shermann are you happy now?"Shermann while playing with her replied,"Uh-very."He was trying to be cosy with Haseena but everytime,she used to move him away.She said,"Arey sahib,thora to sabr rakkhiye itni bhi jaldi kya hai?Pehle aapke hotel ke kamre to pohochne dijiye."Shermann kissed on her hand and replied,"Uh naughty girl!Sure darling."Saying he said to Shera,"Shera drop us to the hotel."Shera instructed the driver and they moved towards a hotel.

                                                                                                After reaching the hotel,Shermann,took the keys and walked towards the lift.The liftman dropped them to the desired floor.In the lift also,Shermann tried his best to become naughty with Haseena but she was very smart and was able to push him away.After reaching in front of his room's door,Shermann opened the door and took her inside.He made her sit in the bed and ordered some drinks.From the room service,a waiter came out with a trolley decorated with drinks and started moving towards Shermann's room.Just the moment,he reached the staff's common washroom's door in the way,suddenly the door opened and a hand came out and pulled the waiter with the trolley inside just at the right moment,when the CC TV camera turned on the opposite direction.Within a few minutes,the waiter came out and started pushing the trolley again.On reaching Shermann's room,he rang the bell and Shermann opened it.The waiter locked the door from inside and moved towards Shermann's bedroom where Haseena was sitting.He put the trolley in front of the bed and left from there.Shermann said to Haseena,"You sit here I'll join you within a moment."Saying,he left for the washroom.

                                                                                               Just the moment,Shermann left,Haseena started searching something in her gypsy trousers,but to her bad luck she didn't find it.She said,"Oh shit!Main itni important cheez bhul kaise sakti hu.Ab to vo aadmi aayega aur mujhe noch khaayega aur main usse zyaada der tak lar bhi nehi paaungi."Saying she got up from the bed and started searching for something.She moved out of the bedroom and looked here and there and suddenly her eyes fall on the bowl of fruit where she found a knife.Just the moment,she picked up the knife,Shermann hugged her from behind.He asked,"Where were you my love?I had been searching for you.Dont you know how much I was missing you?"Saying,he kissed on her hairs.She closed her eyes with disgust and slipped the knife inside her trouser's pocket.Shermann took her to his bedroom and pushed Haseena on the bed and too pushed himself over her but intelligently Haseena fled on the other side.She was about to get down from the bed but Shermann grabbed her and pulled her towards himself and said,"Where are you going baby?You are mine for this night."Haseena now started fighting a bit but he was too strong for her.The moment,Shermann was about to kiss her,someone covered his face with a handkerchief tightly and after a few seconds of fighting,Shermann felt unconscious.Haseena pushed him away from her and got up on the bed.Her eyes moved towards the person who did this and she got shocked since he was the same waiter who served them drink.She asked,"Tum???"The waiter pulled out his mask and then took out a bag from inside the trolley of drink.Haseena,like a hypnotized person watching everything.The man was none other than the same instrument player who was with the gypsy's.He replied,"Yu chupchap bethe na rehke thora kaam karle jiske vajah se yaha aaye hai?Zara iska laptop lekar aao."Haseena immediately got up and brought Shermann's laptop.The instrument player immediately opened the laptop and hacked it and collected all the necessary information.After that he put off the laptop and then fixed a bug and a small CC TV camera on the AC.After that,he asked Haseena,"Ab yehipe rehne ka iraada hai kya?Chalo jaldi."Saying he packed his bag and entered inside the washroom.He tied a rope and from the backside window and a belt around his waist.He also made Haseena wear another belt of the same type.He tied the hook with the rope and wore a special goggles.He looked downwards and due to that goggles,he found that no one was watching.So he jumped off from the window.After getting down,he looked here and there and since there was no one to watch,he signaled Haseena and she too climbed down.After that,the man gave her a burkha and asked her to wear it.She asked,"Main ye kyu pehnu?"He replied,"To kya tum aise jaaogi bahaar?Puri transparent dress hai tumhaari."Haseena wore it and they moved towards the back gate of the hotel.The man opened it with a very thin and small knife and both fled away from there.

                                                                                                   The man started a bike and Haseena quickly sat beside him.On their way,Haseena asked,"Tum to chale gaye the phir waapas kaise aaye?"He replied,"Tumne ye socha bhi kaise ke main tumhe us bheriye ke haatho akela chorkar chala jaaunga?Main hall mein hi chupa hua tha."She asked,"Maine mana kiya tha na tumhe aane ko?Kaha tha na ke main akele sab sambhaal lungi.Phir kyu aaye?"He replied,"Really???Ek to apni behoshi ki dava tum bhul kar aa gayi aur agar main sahi waqt pe vaha na pohochta to vo to tumhaare saath…"She lowered her head.On the whole ride,they didn't speak anything.They stopped in front of a building and she quietly stepped down.After parking the bike,both entered inside the lift.The watchman saw them and came running to them and asked,"Arey kaun hai aap log au raise kaise kaha ghuse chale ja rahe hai?"The man said,"Bhaiya main hu."He showed his i-card and the watchman said,"Oh aap ho.Thik hai jaiye."Both Haseena and the man entered inside the lift and the lift started moving upwards.Haseena was constantly looking towards the man and asked,"Itna gussa kyu dikha rahe ho mujhpar?"The man replied,"Mujhe tumse is baare mein koi baat nehi karni hai."The lift stopped and both came outside.The man while opening the door of his apartment,said,"So please just leave me alone."Saying he entered inside followed by Haseena.While Haseena closed the door,in the nameplate of the door,it was written MR  RISHI  KUMAR.

[ 3 DAYS  AGO,MORNING  8.30 A.M. ]

Indira woke up and looked at the watch.She quickly left the bed and ran towards the kitchen.While making the breakfast,she remembered about the incidences of last night.A smile formed on her lips.While arranging the food in the dish,she heard a voice singing :

Yeh chaand sa raushan chehra,zulfon ka rang sunehra.

Ye jheel si neeli aakhen,koi raaz hai inme gehra.

Taarif karu kya uski jisne tumne banaaya.

Indira turned back and found Rishi coming towards the table.She slowly moved towards the table and said to Rishi,with a guilt stricken voice,"Vo Rishi mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai."Rishi opened his arms in a stylish manner and said,"Of course.Bolo meri jaan banda haazir hai.Ye naachis to paida hi tumhaari baato ko sunne ke liye hua hai.Batao."Indira just opened her lips to speak and Rishi said,"Vaise agar I love you bolna chahti ho to uski koi zarurat nehi hai because I know that you love me very much aur agar kiss karna chahti ho to…"He came very close to her and said,"Uske liye main tumhe bilkul bhi mana nehi karunga and for that you are always welcome."Indira felt very embarrassed and said,"Vo na kal raat…vo kal raat ko…"Before she could complete,Rishi said,"Haaye!Kal ki vo raat!Uff kya raat thi!Mujhe to kal raat ko baaarish mein bheegne ke baad itni achchi neend aayi ke aaj subhe to mera mann hi nehi kar raha tha uthneka.Seriously…"Indira,at last getting fed up covered his mouth and grinned,"Mujhe bolne ka mauka doge?Tabse khud hi bak bak kiye ja rahe ho."Rishi nodded his head.Indira continued,"Main ye keh rahi thi ke…kal raat ko jo hua…uske liye…Iam sorry.Mujhe aisa nehi karna chahiye tha."Rishi stood silently.Indira asked,"Kuch bolo?"He pointed towards her hand which was covering his mouth and she immediately removed her hand.He asked,"Sorry kisliye?"She replied,"Vo jo kal raat ko hua."He said,"Kal raat ko??Oh ha tum khaana nehi bana sakti isiliye mujhe tumhe bahaar le jaana para uske liye.Arey isme sorry bolne waali kya baat hai?"She replied,"Arey iske liye nehi.Vo uske liye.Vo jo…baarish mein hua."He said,"Kya hua tha???Oh tumne gubbaare kharidne ki zidd ki thi vo.Oho don't say sorry na biwi.It hurts."Indira angrily said,"Arey uske liye nehi vo jo…"Rishi naughtily asked,"Vo jo kya?"Indira made a fist and then grabbed his collar and said,"Dekho Rishi tum bohot achchi tarah se jaante ho ke main kya bolne ki koshish kar rahi hu.Ye jaankar bhi anjaan banne ka naatak tum mere saath mat kiya karo samjhe."Rishi gave up,"Ok ok ok.Iam sorry.Dekho biwi jo hua vo ho gaya na and it was just a simple kiss aur hum dono ajnabee nehi hai jo is baat ke liye apologize kare.It is just normal between us."Indira still was not able to take it normally.Rishi cupped her face and said,"Main jaanta hu ke tum kya soch rahi ho.Agar aaj Sam tumhaari zindagi mein nehi hota to tumhe ye bura bilkul bhi nehi lagta aur sach yehi hai ke Sam ke saath tumhaara rishta ek samjhauta hai,ek kisam ki zabardasti hai mujhe bhulne ki.Why you are doing this to yourself?Is zabardasti ke rishtey se bahaar nikalke dekho Indira,life kitni asaan ho jaayegi.Kal jo kuch bhi hua mujhe uska bilkul bhi afsos nehi hai aur naahi tumhe hai.Hai na?"Indira was just staring at him and asked,"Meri har baat bina bole samajh kaise jaate ho Rishi aisa lagta hai jaise mera dil tumhaare liye ek aaina hai."He said,"Nehi meri aakho mein tumhaare dil ko parne ke liye ek special scanner lagaya hua hai."At this both giggled by joining their head and Rishi kissed on Indira's nose.Just then Indira's phone rang.Rishi made a disturbing face and said,"Ye phone hai na bara galat time pe bajta hai."Saying,he picked up the phone and without seeing the number said,"Dekhiye aap jo koi bhi hai jab miyan-biwi ek saath ishq laraa rahe hote hai na to is tarah se unhe disturb nehi karte bohot gandi aadat hoti hai."He then cut the call.Indira asked,"Yeh kya kiya Rishi?"He replied,"Maine to bas phone kaata hai.Yaad hai shaadi ke baad jab tum subhe soti thi aur mera phone bajta tha to tum to seedha mera phone uthaakar phek deti thi.Kitne saare phone tore the mere,maine to tab kuch nehi kaha aur mere is tarah se bolne bhar se hi tumhe gussa aa gaya?"Indira checked the number and found it was Sameer's.She exclaimed,"Oh shit!!!Sam.Kya kiya tumne Rishi?"He gave a broad smile and replied,"Tab to maine bohot achcha kiya."Indira glared at him and left to her room.Rishi said to himself,"Arey bohot achche se hi uska number dekha tha tabhi to bola.Saaley ko ye baatein sunaane mein jo maza aa raha tha na kya bataau.Bichaara mera abhi usey dekhne ka bara mann kar raha hai."Saying he laughed imagining Sameer's face.

                                                                                                 Indira,after finishing the call,came out of her room and asked,"Rishi ye bohot ganda kaam kiya hai tumne.Bohot upset tha bichaara."Just at that moment,Indira's cell rang again.She picked up the call and after hearing something,her expressions changed.Rishi noticed it and asked,"Kya hua?"Indira replied,"Mere informer ka phone aaya tha ke Shera 3 din baad kisi foreigner ko lekar yaha Mumbai aanewaala hai.Vo jab bhi yaha aata hai tab harbaar vo ek Mumbai-Pune highway ke ek dhaabe mein jaata hai.Is baar bhi jaayega.Hume unke khilaaf kuch na kuch information aaj hi collect karni paregi kisi bhi haal mein."Rishi said,"Shera nehi vo foreigner kyuki Shera tak agar pehle pohochne ki koshish karogi to peeche ke saare information haath se nikal jaayegi.Isilye beech se nehi neeche se start karna parega.Abhi hamaara pehla shikaar ye foreigner hi hoga."He thought for a moment and asked,"Par hum waha jaayenge kaise?Aise to nehi ja sakte?"Indira replied,"Mere informer ne mujhe ek aur information bhi di hai."He asked,"Kya?"She said,"Yehi ke isbaar us dhaabewaale ne gypsy dance ka intezaam bhi kiya hai."He confusingly asked,"To?"She meaningfully replied,"To…"Rishi understood her meaning and replied,"Oh!Samajh gaya."Indira said,"Lets go!"Both started preparing for office.

[ PRESENT  TIME ]

The man who was playing the instrument was none other than Rishi and Haseena was none other than Indira.Rishi was very angry with Indira for taking such a big risk.indira tried to talk with him but he was not at all paying attention to her.She asked,"Achcha main maanti hu ke mujhse galti ho gayi hai to ab main kya karu?Bhul gayi main davaayi lena pata nehi mujhse kaise miss ho gaya?"Rishi was there in the washroom washing off his make-up.He got out and said,"Bhul gayi???How could you forget??Agar tumhaare saath kuch bhi ho jaata to?Agar main sahi time pe nehi aata to?Mera to dil kar raha tha us aadmi ki jaan lelu par apne aap par kaise control kiya vo sirf main jaanta hu."Indira was standing like a guilty.He continued,"Vo to achcha hua ke maine tumhaare manaa karne ke baad bhi tumhaari baat nehi maani aur tumhaare peeche peeche chala aaya."He out of disgust,closed his eyes and said,"Indira abhi jaao yahase.Mujhe tumse koi baat nehi karni hai.Mera dimaag abhi bohot garam hai."She held her ears and lowered her head and said,"Iam sorry.Aagey se aisi galti kabhi nehi hogi."Rishi stared at her for a moment and then hugged her.He had tears in his eyes.He said,"Tumhe pata hai main kitna dar gaya tha?Mujhe laga ke main tumhe bacha nehi paaunga.I was so so scared.You promise me kabhi bhi aisa risk tum nehi logi."Indira broke the hug and said,"Main promise karti hu."Rishi hugged her again for his dear life and Indira too understood his grief and so she continued patting him.
