Wow I loved the story and the way it ended! Love that Mukti was projected to be so strong!

By the way, wonderful use of metaphors:
"On the roof, Mukti had felt Sharad let go, which made it easier for Prem to pull her up into his arms. Prem embraced Mukti tightly."

Mukti let her past and its burden on her soul to finally leave her, and thus true love could embrace her and she could find peace.
