People in Suva city yesterday got the opportunity to see the shooting of yet another Bollywood film – 'Table No. 21'.
People crowded the corner of Marks Street and Waimanu Road as the shooting took place in the centre of the junction.
Shooting was done almost the entire day.
The film is produced under the Next Gen Films (Fiji) banner and directed by Aditya Datt.
It stars Rajeev Khandelwal and Tina Desai alongside the much-acclaimed actor, Paresh Rawal.
Ms Desai is already loving her first impression of our isles.
In an interview with the Fiji Sun she was excited about the movie.
"I absolutely love Fiji and the view from my room with the water in the
background is amazing! My star sign is Pisces and I love the water," Ms
Desai said.
Mr Khandelwal had nothing but good comments about his experience in Fiji so far.
"I don't feel like I'm overseas at all and I feel right at home here in
Fiji. In fact I feel like I'm in Goa and I love Fiji already," he said.
Like the other Bollywood films, 'Table No. 21' will also feature locals in the films.
Auditions have already been conducted before the shooting began for the film.
The film will be shot in Fiji for a little over a month and the majority
of the shooting will be done in Fiji, with a little bit shot in India.
Mr Datt has directed films such as 'Aashique Banaya Aapne', 'Dil Diya Hai' and the most recent releases 'Will You Marry Me?'.
