CHAPTER – 7

Sonia after entering the house went straight to the washroom for a bath. Following her Ishika,Rishabh and Seher too entered SN.Ishika was constantly crying.Indira came and took her on her lap and enquired about the reason of her crying.Seher told everything to her bua and she got very angry at those guys and for the first time ever in her life,she appreciated Sonia's violent act.When Sonia came out of the washroom,Indira praised her with open heart.Sonia giving a disbelief look to Indira,went near Munna and Rishi and asked,"Mamaji,Daddy aaj suraj kaha se ugaa hai?Mamma ne pehli baar kisiko peetne ke vajah se mujhe shabaashi di?"Rishi smiled and Munna replied,"Achcha hai na teri ma sudhar rahi hai vaise bhi bich me apni hitlergiri bhul chuki thi."The three giggled at this statement.

                                                 Sonia thought,if she would tell Sameer's incident to Indira she would be praised more.So out of excitement,she said,"Mamma vaise aaj maine ek aur insaan ko bhi sabak sikhaaya hai."Indira asked with surprise,"Kisey?"Sonia said,"Kyu vo jo apne ghar mein thore der pehle aaye the?Mr Sameer Diwan."Indira's heart stopped beating for a second.She looked at others.Rishi gave her a look and made a signal not to over react in front of Sonia.Controlling her nervousness,Indira asked,"Kya-kiya-tumne-unke-saath?"Sonia happily described the scene and also mentioned how he saved her and last but not the least how she drenched him.All were laughing by pressing their lips while listening to her,but as soon as Indira glared at them,they all made a straight face.Sonia added,"Pata hai Mamma maine unhe pehle din jitna bura samjha tha vo utne bhi bure nehi hai.Agar vo meri jaan nehi bachaate toh kya hota?"and then concluded,"Pata hai aaj jab unhone mujhe bachaane ke liye apna haath mere pith pe rakkha toh mujhe aisa laga jaise…."she looked brightly towards Rishi and said,"Daddy aap ho."The last statement made by Sonia hit Indira so hard that she dashed on the sofa.Sonia then made a baby face and pleaded Indira,"Mamma bohot bhukh lagi hai kuch khaane ko do na."Indira anyhow replied,"H-ha la-laati hu beta tum apne k-amre mein jao."Sonia happily left and Indira too,with a heavy heart, went inside the kitchen.Munna laughingly said,"Vaise chote aaj zindagi mein pehli baar suna hai ke beti ne baap ko dho diya vaise achcha hi hua vo saala isi laayak hai."Rishi unmindfully listened to Munna and gave a sad and blank look thinking about Indira.

                                        Indira arranged the food in a plate and went to Sonia's room.She sat beside her.Sonia was about to take the plate but Indira stopped her and lovingly cared her cheek,"Aaj main apni gudiya ko apne haatho se khilaungi bohot mehnat ki hai na aaj gundo ki pitaai karne mein."Sonia broadly smiled and hugged her,"You know mamma,you are the best mamma in the whole world."Indira kissed her forehead,"And you are the best daughter in the whole world."While feeding her,Indira asked,"Beta woh Sameer Diwan ne tumhe kuch zyaada bura – bhala to nehi kaha na?"Sonia replied,"Na,actually maine unhe kuch bolne ka mauka hi nehi diya."Indira with a fade smile said,"Beta unse zaraa dur rehna vo bilkul bhi achche insaan nehi hai."Sonia folded her lips,"Ha par vo itne bhi bure nehi hai.Vo thore gussewale aur nakchare hai….."and happily added,"Bilkul mere jaise."The piece of the food slipped from Indira's hand on hearing this.Sonia then doubtfully asked,"Par aapko kaise pata vo kaise hai?Aap janti hai kya unhe?Unhone kya kuch bura kiya?"Indira fearfully got up and made a lame excuse,"Vo b-beta aise hi mujhe tumhari f-fikar hoti hai na,i-isiliye"and left her room with the empty plate.

[DIWAN HOUSE]

At the dinner table,Sameer was unmindfully moving the spoon through the food but was not eating it.Simi patted him,"Kya baat hai Sam?Tu khana kyu nehi kha raha hai?Koi problem hai?"Sameer's chain of thought was broken by her words.He said very seriously,"Aaj main Sharma Niwas gaya tha ma."Simi furiously asked,"Kya?Tu waha gaya tha?Lekin kyu?Bhul gaya tu vo sab?"Sameer stopped his mom,"Main kuch nehi bhula ma aur unhe main yehi yaad dilaane gaya tha."He mockingly continued,"Aur mubarak ho ma tumhare bete ne shaadi karli hai aur uske 3 bachche bhi hai.Aap dadi ban gayi hai."and continued making a fist and giving a wild look and leaning on the table said,"Main us Indira ko nehi chorunga ma.Usey aur uske purey khaandaan ko tabaah kar dunga.Bohot ghamand hai na usey.Uska yeh ghamand maine agar chur chur nehi kiya to main bhi Sameer Diwan nehi."Simi asked him to cool down.But he was so angry that he broke the table with bare hand.Blood was coming out from his hand but he didn't pay any heed.Simi made his dressing and asked him to go and sleep.

                                           At night,Sam could not stop thinking about his sufferings in jail but most important of all he could not stop thinking about the girl.He could not forget her face,her expressions.He was not able to sleep peacefully.He got up on the bed and murmered himself,"Kehne ko to vo Ricky ki beti hai lekin uske baat karne ka andaaz,uska attitude sab hubahu mere jaisa kyu hai?Meri bas ussey do hi baar mulaakaat hui hai aur jo hua mujhe to uspe gussa hona chahiye lekin main gussa kyu nehi kar pa raha hu?Kyu mujhe usme apni parchaai dikhti hai?Kyu aisa lagta hai ke mera aur uska koi gehra rishta hai?Aisa achaanak kyu mehsus ho raha hai mujhe?"He went to the bathroom and sprinkled some water on his face.He returned to his room and after some time brushed away his thought thinking it might be his halucination.He got in his bed and fall asleep.
