Recently saw ABCD and Special 26.
ABCD was disappointing in terms of storyline...I mean it had none.  If you saw the trailer you pretty much saw the entire movie. LOL
This movie I guess was supposed to also be a debut film of sorts for some great dancers like Dharmesh, Salman, Puneet, Prince, etc...  But the movie really had too many dancers in it to do justice to any one character...and only Puneet who played Chandu really stood out.
The movie does have mind-blowing dance in it...because in fact the star of this film is the dancing.
Special 26...I loved.  Excellent excellent excellent story...that leaves you guessing up until the end...and you still wind up being surprised. LOL
No action...just a battle of the wits...I highly reccommend it. Thumbs Up

Posted this in the ABCD reviews thread as well:
So I just watched it online, and I have so much to say!
***Might Contain Spoilers***
First off, there were parts missing and that bugged me, but there is no where in my area playing it and I really wanted to see it so I had no choice.
The storyline was weak, but honestly I don't care. It was cliched to the max but I loved it. The only thing I didn't like about the writing was that there were too many characters, and most of their stories weren't developed properly (I don't think they all even had names LOL). Inspiration from the Step Up series is obvious, but I liked ABCD better.
As actors, they all surprised me- in a good way- especially Dharmesh!! I did not think he would do even half as well as he did. Everyone was good, but Punit stood out- maybe it's because his character's story touched me, but he made himself stand out. I wish his character didn't die, because now there is no chance of him being in the sequel.
There were so many DID contestants that I lost track counting part way through. LOL
I liked Lauren as well- if I didn't know, I would have thought she knew Hindi, because her accent wasn't too bad, and she was good at the Indian dance styles too.
The dances were all AMAZING!! If you're a dance lover, you'll love it, and even if you're not the last scene will amaze you!
Other than the dance, I loved the whole friendship aspect. When there are two groups, and one of them is being taught the dance, the others sit outside the hall and watch and learn from afar, just because D doesn't want to go, and they don't go until he does.
There was one scene that I didn't like, and it's in the beginning of the movie with Dharmesh, Saajan and 2 others running away from the cops. It just looks like it was thrown in to justify the 3D aspect, because every 5 seconds there is someone jumping at the screen or something being thrown at the screen, and maybe it looks cool in 3D but watching it in 2D irritated me.

I watched The Blue Valentine a few days ago with Ryan Gosling and Michelle WIlliams.

I wanted to see this movie for the longest time, so I had high expectations from it..but the plot wasn't as great as I thought it would have been. The acting though was phenomenal by both to say the least.

Michelle Williams was awesome and I don't really like her. & Ryan Gosling..well I don't even know where to begin. I love that guy and he never fails to impress. They had a lovely onscreen chemistry too.

Murder 3: watched it and I liked it.. sure Randeep Hooda didn't have to show any acting skills that was a piece of cake for him but yeaahh watching him a treat for me so I enjoyed.. I liked the story me and my sister were guessing it all through as to what could be the twist and turns out to be a totally different thing.. That police inspector is a good actor he was pretty much wasted.. I liked all the songs.. The girls were okay-ish Aditi was better.. Randeep was hot as always.. I'd say 3/5 A good movie..

PS: Nobody sings bheege honth tere in this one and I missed Prashant Narayan and Emraan Hashmi.. I think Prashant and Emraan should be in all Murder movies.. Randeep can do alot more stuff tho I love him and he looked really good but I wanted to take his wig off Dead

There was a joke last year - All the girls want to see a movie about strippers and all the guys want to see a movie about a Teddy Bear.

I didn't know what to expect from Ted. It was an R rated comedy from the makers of South Park. Guys were raving about how raunchy and hilarious it was. But many gals also said that Ted was a funny movie.

The movie surprised me in many different ways. Firstly, it was not as hilarious as I thought it was. Don't get me wrong, it is very funny. But not as much as I expected. Also some of the humor is boy humor, that I don't usually laugh out loud to. For example "Stick your finger in the loop of my tag".

But the thing was that it wasn't crass or crude as I expected it to be. It actually had a really good plot and the story was sweet and meaningful. It actually is a lot about growing up, taking responsibilities, having accountability and being mature in relationships. But its packaged in a totally fun, non preachy, hilarious way.

Guys will enjoy the movie for the raunchy boy humor, the Flash Gordon references and the fact that Ted is a total player. Girls will like that for once the girl is not shown as the evil rift between bros and that the movie does have romantic undertones.

Mark Wahlberg is a great actor who has done many good roles, this was just Ok. I really liked Mila Kunis, She's not just a pretty face but can carry roles well. Of course the best part of the movie is Sam Jones.

And I end with this. Even the asexual robot Sheldon Cooper has a raging toner after viewing this

PS: Girls, if you're ring tone is set to the "Imperial March" rest assured that you are the one and he will never stray from you. You are the Amidala to his Anakin, the Leia to his Solo, the Death Star to his Emperor.

Desi Boyz

Recession approaches, educated men lose jobs in Gothem city which results in two Indian men to escort rich women to make quick cash. Escorting is justified to viewers as two men are desperate to save one's orphan nephew etc etc

Wow that was some amazingly BAD acting by the cast especially DP. If that was acting, even I could do a better job than her. As for the rest, I wonder what prompted Akshay Kumar to be a part of such bad movie. John was struggling from the first scene onwards and I too struggled digesting him

Overall that was some bad execution. More like torture to my eyes
