Most successful singer from Reality shows - Page 2

Wow, somehow, whenever a comparison topic like this is started, there is a very noticeable bias to 1 contestant or a select few and the creators or posters here try and make their favorites look better than everyone else. If you really want to ask who is most successful in terms of their end goal, becoming one of the main players in the singing industry of Bollywood, none of them have overthrown the greats or  taken the place of a current singer in terms of being the "go to" guy or girl for the most popular music directors. Just because some singer sang a few Bollywood songs doesn't mean he or she is any closer than the rest to that final goal, so they are all equal there. But these contestants have still accomplished something unique to just them. Take Sreeram for example. For whatever reason, singers from his region aren't as present on these reality shows as others but despite that, despite not having as big a voting/ viewing  pool as some others have, he won Indian Idol  and he managed to get a chance to perform at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Toshi and Sharib excell at working together, singing and composing great music.  Raja has sung many songs for Bollywood. Aneek and Anwesha at this point have excelled in shows, many in India and lots overseas. Every year since he won the world championship of singers, Aneek has come to the USA for shows. Anwesha has made many stops here as well. Each singer has made some headway in their own region as far as singing in films or a regional album.  My point is all of them have achieved lots in their own right and it's way too early to tell who will have a dominating position in Bollywood.

Bahot bahot shukriya, itne saare gane Raja ne gaya aur mujhe pata bhi nahi chala. Mujhe lagta hain yeh telegu gana utna kuch khas nahi laga mujhe. Gana bhi Raja jaisa utan surila nahi laga are you sure yeh Raja ka hi gana hain Vijayji? Aur achha koi gana post kijiye yehan pe please!!

Raja as a singer is unparalleled. Going through this detailed list of songs sung by Raja, I earnestly believe that Raja wins Filmfare Award very soon. Also, with this many songs, I am more than interested in knowing of the Awards that Raja must have won by now. Go Raja... best of luck.

What a about Hemachandra from srgmp whohas almost a 100 songs to his credit and has had the oppurtunity to become the music director for a couple of movies.He is doing very well.
Karunya of Indian idol also has sung a lot of songs and one filmfare award too.
Guys u remember the Telugu movie of Raja Hasan but skipped these successful singers from Andhra. 😉Edited by amukta - 11 years ago

Another aspect not to be forgotten is that many singers have made a name for themselves in regional films which should not be under-estimated.
