True, you can't but help let your heart go out to each of these characters. Each of their trauma, each of their losses is so grave individually. If there was a choice to feel for one character, it would be tough. Papaji lost his son, Megha her husband and Mohan is in a situation where his love is unrequitted. This serial really brings out various facets of love. So poignant and beautiful.

Mohan always craved for a perfect family which he experienced even if it was in a pseudo way during the Farmhouse trip. And we could see that he longed for that experience to be his reality when he opened up to Guru. There was that longing, that pain in him then. For Megha this life was once a reality which was taken away from her in one swift blow by destiny. So here her pain must be quite something (really cant describe it in words) where she misses Amar and her perfect life. The portyal of this pain was brought out beautifully yesterday.

Though Mohan has a very loving Mother and Guru to support him, we cannot forget that he comes from a dysfunctional family. Having a perfect family has that kind of a positive impact on a person which Mohan could never experience. That is one of the reasons why he is the kind of gruffy guy that he is. He is lonely from within. There is that emptiness in him which only Megha can fill. And this possibility at the moment is remote as Amar still rules Megha's heart.

On the other hand, Megha has Jiji, Papaji and her kids as her support system, she had a perfect family which she lost. She is equally lonely from within. Mohan is the only guy who can take her out of the darkness which she has let engulf her. She knows this feebly enough but she cannot acknowledge it because of her situation, her love for Amar and various other reasons.

One cannot but feel sorry for these poor souls. And I seriously feel so bad for them as if they were real people in my world. Such is the effect NBT has on me.
