PEPPER SPRAY-GUN-KNIFE ILLEGAL WEAPONS
There is a big difference between self defence and just being scared of the way you r raised.
 
that guy did not a gun, knife, or any weapon to hurt RAAVI in any way... Raavi was given that pepper spray by jeet...so police should arrest jeet first...
 
IT doesnt matter ... it is illegal... what if it was a gun instead of a pepper spray..would jeet say no it is ok...my raavi did the right thing... Teaching kids how to gun down down someone or violence is not goood parvarish..whehter u live in india, america, canada, or any other country...
 
And yes in some states of US and in Canada Having Pepper spray is Illegal period...
 
Again Jeet should have complained in advance but no they wanted to handle everything on thier own... BUT IT IS WRONG.
 
The guy did not harras...RAAVI.. he was just talking.. Raavi could have left him.. she could have screamed.. .there were lots of people... but no... she wanted to pepper spray him... she took her time...talked to him.. and then took out the bottle...
 
so if she lived in Canada and this thing Actually happened in real life she would have been arrested...
They dont have any evidence that That guy harrassed RAAVi...
 
If everyone starts punishing people, then police officers should sit at home... and then more reality shows like Crime Patrol will happen.

Yeah, they were wrong. Pepper spray is illegal in countries around the world like Canada.

Peppe Spray is not illegal in India and it is sold openly in drugstores esp. in Delhi. Need we ask why?

Guns and knives are not illegal in US and Canada and everyday students take these weapons to school to kill their classmates, yet no one protests that guns should be outlawed. But a young girl uses something to protect herself and there is outrage?

Should Raavi act only after she is raped or has acid thrown on her face?

Pepper spray is not illegal in US! Its sold openly in many stores and girls/women living or working in big cities like NYC carry it as a precaution against rape and molestation! 
And that is the right thing to do. The police cant be everywhere so on a dark night on a deserted street if the woman is accosted by a rapist she can use the pepper spray to blind the guy so she can escape and call for help!

In Raavi's case, shes absolutely justified in using pepper spray because the boy was blocking her way. Its called intimidation and harassment. And if the girl feels threatened and bullied by a guy she has every right to use the pepper spray! She asked him to leave her alone, to get out of his way but he didnt listen. So she sprayed him! Good for her! Im glad shes not being the helpless victim anymore but learning to fight back!! ClapStar

As for asking for help or shouting, do u really think any of the bystanders would have helped her? NO! Its Delhi and Delhi ppl are notorious for minding their own business and letting crimes and abductions happen in broad daylight. In some cities like my hometown Kolkata people do come forward to help and even beat up the stalker sometimes if a girl screams for help! But not so in Delhi where general public is immune to girls being harassed/molested and the police dont help either! 

Im not making this up, theres solid proof of this. Delhi has been declared the rape capital of India. Just recently there was a case of a 16 yr old girl abducted from a street while waiting for her ride home after tuition classes. She was picked up in a van and gang raped by 3-4 boys while driving around the city. Thats the reality of Delhi...Dead Ouch
What a shame for the country when the capital is a den of rapists!! Angry

BTW in USA guns are totally legal and ppl can carry guns around if they have a licence for it... and in some states if a person feels threatened by another person he/she can shoot the other person in self defence. In such cases its not judged as murder but as self defence! This just happened in a notorious case in Florida. That is taking things too far but pepper spray doesnt kill anyone, just stuns them and renders them incapable of bad action so pepper spray is totally valid to use to safeguard oneself!

A rowdy is stalking her all the way to her home for last couple of weeks; in the mall, in the shop, near the school, on the road, around her society compounds, whether she was alone or accompanied by her siblings, creating false evidences against her, thrashing notes and flowers on her, threatening her brother along with her rowdy gang and still he has not done 'anything' and was merely 'talking' to her?!!Ouch Here is Delhi, where day light abductions of young girls are not an unheard phenomena and yet Raavi should treat that freaking stalker  as a mere harmless socialiser cordially seeking a chit chat!?ShockedHere he is blocking her way despite being told to GET LOST, and yet she must be in etiquette!?Shocked Wow...and Jeet gets to be arrested for equipping his daughter with self defence!? Why? Because he preempts  and robs that wonderful socialiser of his hand at a 'social chit chat'? And all these, even after he sees his daughter getting frightened a hell out of her wits-so much so that now she is refusing to go out? And yet he should be 'responsible' enough not to secure a self defence as a 'law abiding' dad?!!OuchConfused

I am shocked...thats the only reaction to this post..

A guy has been stalking a girl and has been returning even after telling him directly she is not interested in him...and if she sprays chill spray on him its a CRIME...

I carry pepper spray myself. It is not illegal in the US and it doesnt do too much damage to the person that Raavi would have to be arrested! The guy crossed all limits by first stalking her and then trying to touch her. Raavi had every right to defend herself.
