MKKPB 16/5/2012 Written Update

• Episode starts with Lovely praising about Maasa to Karantia and Karantia also praising maasa. (Very cutely done.)
• Maasa and Ammasa bless Karantia and Ammasa tells Karantia she has to do her duties correctly and has to always follow the truth,
• Ammasa asks Nimmi to read the news in the papers. Then they are promoting the newspaper and Lovely joins in with them.
• The phone rings and maasa answers the phone. Its someone called padmavathy and maasa is not to happy with the caller but invites her over to the Kaushik house to stay. Lovely asks who is she and Maasa says her childhood friend.
• Lovely asks maasa how was their childhood friendship and Maasa recalls her college days with padmavathy (background the music for the new show is being played sapne suhane) Maasa and padmavathy has actually had a form of love hate relationship whereby padmavathy has always looked down and criticized maasa while in college. Maasa is still in her agitated thoughts and Lovely asks again if her friend is exactly like her. Maasa suddenly gets up and calls for all of her sons and the rest DIL's.
• Babusa and all rush to the hall and ask why is maasa shouting for them. Maasa says her childhood friend is coming from America with her family to stay a few days. All are excited as friends from overseas are coming.
• Maasa then orders Gehna that she should bring out and use only the good silverware and  to cook all sorts of modern food and asks Lovely and Ria to buy modern and new types of cutlery and food. She then tells Adi and Kartik to get new furniture and an airconditioner as well as LCD Tv for the guest room, Kartik tells maasa its going to be expensive to buy all new. Maasa then says to rent them all for a while. Everyone is puzzled by Maasa's weird demands and behaviour. (very very cute scene)
• Maasa warns everyone that they should give padmavathy very special treatment and ensure she has a very happy stay there. All are puzzled by Maasa's behaviour.
• All are laughing as Babusa makes fun of maasa's weird behaviour. Maasa than shouts at all to prepare for the guests. All the kaushiks are seen running around doing things and buying new things for the house. (Real funny)
• Karantia is polishing the silverware, maasa tells her that when her friend comes not to speak too much to her as her friend might not understand her village type behavious. Karantia tells maasa not to worry about that,
• Ria and Lovely walk into the kitchen with all the shopping and maasa asks ria has she bought all the food as in London. Lovely than asks Maasa why they need to show off as they have everything already there. Lovely realizes maasa may get offended so just says that they will ensure everything is how she wants.
• Maasa is thinking to herself how to explain to them that if she does not show off in front of padmavathy, then she will look down on Maasa.
• Ria asks Maasa is something wrong. Maasa says all is ok but they just have to ensure her friend must be comfortable staying there.
• A worried Maasa enter her room and starts trying to learn English by herself and says she should not lose to her friend. Babusa with anu and lucky quietly walk in and scare maasa. Babusa then asks maasa why is she suddenly reading the English papers. Maasa then makes up some excuse then later says she is not able to read the words without glasses. Lucky says he will read it and maasa aks him to read one by one words and maasa is repeating after lucky. Babusa is finding it very amusing and he is also quite confused.
• The next morning the whole house is very well decorated and all the family are dressed up very well as well. Some of the sons are also wearing coats.
• Ammasa says the house looks really nice and Utkarsh says they have spent 30000 rs. Adi is shocked and asked how come they had to spend so much for a mere classmate. Gehna also is confused as the reason Maasa wants to show off.
• Maasa asks Gehna to change to a grander dress and asks ammasa is her sari is ok. Ammasa compliments her. Bittu feels uncomfortable in the suit and complains.
• Then the guests from America arrives and all go to the entrance to welcome them.
• All are shocked by her modern looks and Maasa shocks everyone further when she welcomes padmavathi in English (really hilarious)
• Padmavathi wants to be called as paddy and she also insults maasa on her very old fashioned life (all the family members are really shocked by it)

Precap: Same as yesterday – the guest insulting Karantia as a maid and Lovely interrupts by saying there are 5 maids in that house.
