It was around 11:50 pm in the night when Viren got up from bed. He glanced at Nivedita who was sleeping peacefully and went out of the room. He went outside the Sood's mansion and walked towards his car . He opened his car's gate and picked up a huge bouquet and a large gift box which he kept secretly in the car after coming home.
He came back in the room only to watch Nivedita sitting on the couch with a cake placed in front of her. She saw him and got up with a huge smile on her face. She said "It's not only you who can give surprise to others Mr.Viren Sood. Others came give surprise as well."
She hugged and whispered "I remember it's our wedding anniversary today."
Viren smiled at her sweet gesture and said mischievously "I never knew that your memory is that sharp. Even I never knew that you can use your brain Mrs. Nivdita Viren Sood."
Nivedita stared at him in a threatening way and replied "And I never knew that an arrogant and selfish person like you can ever think about getting something for others."
Viren nodded his head and said "Acha ji."
After few minutes of stare, they both burst out laughing. Viren bent on his knees and gave bouquet and gift to Nivi while saying "For my Mumtaz."
Nivi took the bouquet and gift from him while blushing a lot. She kept thinking for few minutes and then said "so let's cut the cake."
They both sat on the couch. Nivi lighted up the candles and they both blew out the candles together. Then together they both cut a slice of the cake. Viren and Nivi fed cake each other lovingly.
Nivi was about to open the gift Viren bought for her when Viren caught her hand and said "Not now. We are going for a long drive."
"Abhi? Are you crazy Viren? It's still midnight." Nivi panicked
"That's why I am saying this because tomorrow we both will not get enough time to be alone like this. Let's go."
Viren forced her to come out of the mansion quietly. They both sat in the car and drove off.
Viren kept driving for 2-3 hours. They reached near a hill. Viren stopped the car.
"Come let's go up."
They both went up to the hill. Viren and Nivi looked around happily. They walked up to the echo point of the hill.
"I Love You Nivedita" Viren shouted.
His sound echoed repeatedly in the hills. Nivi too shouted "I Love You too Viren" which kept echoing in the hill.
It was an unusual experience for them to hear their voice repeatedly confessing their love for each other.
Nivi and Viren sat on a stone. Nivi placed her head on Viren shoulder and closed her eyes while trying to memorize the beauty of the place.
Viren caught her hand and said "I can't believe that we are celebration our first wedding anniversary."
Nivi replied in a voice full of laughter "nor do I."
They both stared at each other again. Nivi said "Viren let's make a promise today in future no matter whatever happens we will always be together like today."
Viren acted like he is lost in thinking and said "is it necessary to make this promise?"
"Viren!!!" Nivi said while looking a bit embarrassed.
Viren laughed and said "ok baba I promise."
