Dadasaheb Phalke Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in Indian Cinema and the recipients are the most deserving pupils from the Industry.

There is fantastic news for all small screen fans as the leading duo of 'Bade Acche Laggte Hai' Ram Kapoor and Saakshi Tanwar, have been awarded for their contribution to Indian small screen. Ram Kapoor and Saakshi Tanwar were adjudged as the best actor and best actress on Indian Television respectively.

Ram Kapoor and Saakshi Tanwar both enjoy huge popularity and have infused life in to their respective characters. Ekta Kapoor also won the Phalke Icon Producer Award - Film & Television.

Tellybuzz would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Ram Kapoor, Saakshi Tanwar and Ekta Kapoor for their contribution to Indian Television.
