You know, I think this post can be considered as director bashing. Don't forget that scenes like The Rain Hug and the beyond AMAZING Holi scenes were directed by the current director. How can you even say such things? I understand there are alot of loopholes. But there is something called tact, no need to be harsh. Blaming the director alone just because you are not satisfied with it? You put forth your problems, and that is ok. Just don't blame someone unless you know the actual working of the Telly industry and unless you actually know who is to blame. This a daily soap. Even the best writers face writers block, directors and actors will have their bad days. Everything may not be perfect. These people work so hard to provide us with entertainment. We should support the show through ups and downs, or else stop watching if we are not satisfied.

OK, let me tactfully point out that the show is currently less than stellar. My bar is set very low. Right now it is buried six feet under. But the show still manages to crawl lower than that. Tactfully speaking, the show is ermm...wonderfully, spectacularly, show-stoppingly, amazingly, immensely full of it right now.

Explain to me how you can criticize anything, and try to fix a problem without pointing a few flaws out? I don't get it. When I err at work, my advisor will let me know, loud and clear. I might not like being told I was wrong, but believe me I'd rather be told so I can fix the problem. I'd like to think the IPK team would rather know what we think. The TRPs tell a story too, you know! Or maybe we should tactfully stop using the TRPs as a barometer of success. After all the TRP is nobody's sagi. Not a true fan that TRP thingy!

I think the fact that we're having this debate means we support the show, no? We want to see it better. That's the whole point of the exercise. Eating crow just because that's what they're willing to serve is not being supportive. It's being silly, tactfully speaking.

@maxine...tussi te bade tactful ho ji.:P

but im glad there are people here who do not enjoy an episode just because it was a little better than the crap shown in previous few episodes..
i still remember my favorites and i still compare to that. im not asking for a scene as good as diwali or resignation or whatever every episode...just tell me that the story is going somewhere good and please cut the faltu ka vella drama!
i finish off with a very indignant "haan nahi toh!"

Why I am so positive that it's to do with direction is the fact that Lalit Mohan used to make even the lamest scenes look magical! I mean, look the Jaadu sequence in the party.. the leads of a serial looking at each other from two ends of a room isn't exactly a first. But, look at what he did with that. And now, even on the same bed, it's comedy show man.

So yeah, morcha it is.

I completely agree on this ... the show needs Lalit Mohan back period !!!

The storyline going to comedy zone is mainly due to the CV"s probably trying to stretch out enough time to showcase that 6 months have gone by ... and I am fine by it till the point that it is done tastefully. I still remember the comic scenes done around New year & that was way better than what is being shown today (imagine we ranted at that time)ConfusedOuch

Rabba Vey needs to be shoved into a closet for a couple of months.  And since the serious track seems to be coming up *Finally* Tongue ... I am more than frantic now that LM comes back if not full time then for a couple of days per week which would at least bring the magic back to quite an extent.

So Halla bol it is ... am ready to join the Morcha ...with placards n all
...

difference...in december(faraq padta hai track) it was my behen ki shadi (and my real behen mind you)..and i was in my native town with no time to watch epis...i bloody spent a few thousand bucks on my roaming number trying to read updates and stuff on IF on phone.(yeah was there for almost 15 days..:\)

these days...(and the last few months in fact) i skip episodes, dont even bother watching the uncut arnav khushi scenes at times...
i have been told kal ka epi was good..but im like "how good can it be anyway?? as good as guest house?? as good as diwali? as good as apology??" NAH!!

kya karein yaar?:\
im kinda glad to be over the addiction (of the show  NOT IF) but i feel bad because it has so damn much potential man!!

We shall not make our peace with mediocrity bey. If we had to, we would've switched channels or timings long back. Barun Sobti's nakedness is all very well. But then again, I can always watch a lot of bare chested men on YT - all actors, all sexy.

exactly shaam ... its like beating your head against a wall...

and yes, liking yesterday's episode is like making peace with mediocrity ... something i refuse to do - after we have seen scenes like TEEJ, DIWALI, JADU, TERI MERI, JANAMASHTMI, LIGHTS REMOVING ... the list is endless

there is nothing there, even worth watching live these days, let alone on YT

dont worry, we also rarely watch an episode these days, and even the comments of those who are accepting the forced rabba veys and barun sobti's naked chest, are not encouraging us to do so.

abbe, have u seen vicky donor??? go watch ... as a pucca dilliwaali u will love it bey!!!
