So this show is going the way of EXACTLY all Ekta shows...the cliches are out in full force...

The career-minded woman is EVIL, the housewife a saint;
In-Laws are Bhagwaan ka Doosra Roop and should be obeyed no matter what harebrained instructions they give your kids;
All husbands are dodos and will fall into bed with the first woman who tries to seduce them;
The "other woman" is a CHUDAIL who has to be "punished" by making the kids pawns in the fight thereby ruining their innocence and ethics, by the neighbours' taunts and by underhand tricks;

In the midst of all this the cheating husband gets the best of both worlds...

...and two brilliant actresses Mona and Mouli are just wasted!

Waah Ekta...you have proved yet again that one BALH does not a Balaji make!!

Many married women have successful careers. But when a woman whether she has a career or not tries to snatch a married man, it is wrong.
Actually the man should be punished. But he is treated with kidgloves by both the parties and he ends up thinking that he is Taj Mahal.

The direction in which the story is going is totally wrong, I don't think its a war between housewives vs working woman.

Lots of successful working woman are excellent Moms and wives. Working woman are not only able to financially support their family but also think independently when it comes to making decision in lives. However, a house wife is always dependent on their hubbies while making financial decisions, they work  double shifts to make ends meet, reduce on outings, eating in lavish restaurants or shopping sprees. Families with single income have to think 2wice everytime they have to spend extra. This is not the case with double income families.

But the 2nd income comes in with extra stress since working woman is constantly trying to balance work and family while dealing with peer pressures, deadlines, competition etc. The 2nd part is also about exposure, when you are a stay at home mom you are not exposed to the external world however in corporate world you constantly meeting and dealing with different personalities that changes the equation a lot.

Bottom line don't have affairs with married men or women & break their families its ethically wrong. Pradeep's char represents o 90% of Indian Men who do not help their wives in kitchen and take easy ride in life wether its watching TV, browsing Internet or other woman, they never take full responibility of house, kids or family. Wether a woman is working or housewive she is the homemaker and is expected to keep things together!!!

indian men take women for granted.. they think that just because they came from office and are tired, they dont have to do anything at the house.. woman on the other hand not only work full time, take care of the house/kids/hubby but also do the chores at home... and if a guy helps his woman out he is considered a henpecked husband/joru ka ghulam..

So agree with you esp. about Indian Men...

Only want to add about working women, that some work because they love working and not only for the money...becoz quite a few time I have come across people saying that they don't work bcoz they don't need the money etc...women can also work for personal satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment...

I was so pissed off with tonite's episode with the constant " chudail' taana and absolutely no anger towards the one who did it all " pradeep"

Mona was speaking to him as normal as she would and then speaks about not to listen to pradeep''s conversations.

agree completely that men in india consider themselves superior to women and guess who approves this thought, women themselves especially mothers who have a son who expect their DIL's to do everything but their son or men should not do anything and are superior ...

looks like I might have to stop watching this serial again.
