About the actress
Ankita Lokhande is from a Maharashtrian family. She born and brought up in Indore by the name of Tanuja and is lovingly called Mintu by her family. Before she trained to be a air hostess but when she decided to take acting as career her parents were quite reluctant, but she succeeded in convincing them and later started getting support from them. She moved to Mumbai in year 2004 as she was selected for Zee Cinestars ki Khoj, but she got big break only in June 2009 in Pavitra Rishta.
She is a high quality dancer. Some time last year she performed on Zee TV's live show . People say she is Vidya Balan of small screen. Many times we see that small screen actors lack fun part (at least that's the perception) but Ankita Lokhande is filled with fun.
Her rise to fame was when she took up the lead role in Balaji's serial Pavitra Rishta that later became the number one show of television. In this top serial she plays a role of Archana Karanjkar. She grabbed this opportunity with both the hands and proved that she is an excellent actress with lot of temperament. This show is one and a half years old now but still gaining popularity and Ankita is definitely main reason for that. In this show her partner is Sushant Singh(as Manav) who acted in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil before Pavitra Rishta.She is currently participating as a participant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 with Nishant Bhatt as well. Only join if you are a fan of Ankita, bashing is not allowed, criticism is but should not get personal or hurt other members feelings.
Like the member list post (the one above this post) if you want to be added; by saying add me in the thread or via PM doesnt count, as I wont look through pages to add people and its only fair if EVERYONE follows rules.
Try to talk about Ankita as much as possible without spamming however you can talk about other costars too
No comparisions, sadly seeing this a lot recently although this should be a known rule for ATs people keep comparing Anki to other stars soemtimes not even related to the AT and most of these compariisons have been negative ones.
No abusive language, name calling or anything offensive

It is a story of a girl, Archana, who though is not highly educated but handles the whole house work impeccably. Every one is dependant on her but except for her brother and mother no one really values her importance. Her mother has a sole aim of getting a good, well educated boy drawing a good salary for Archana. Because of this Archana's marriage plans have always been full of obstacles. Simultaneously runs the story of boy Sushant; a garage owner; who gets besotted by Archana on the very first sight. Destiny and circumstances make his marriage proposal reach archana but to be accepted he has to lie about his credentials, which because of unavoidable situations he does. The marriage takes place but the moment Archana comes to know about the lie she refuses to go with Sushant. The story continues from here – what remains to be seen is what happens to Archana who inspite of being married does not go to stay with her husband, will the two people who are made for each other ever come together?
